IS II yesterday!! Declining but hopefully it will go to one of you 🙂

does anyone have any other interview advice? I plan on studying the questions from the SDN feedback site and just some other general questions. Anything kinda surprise you or seemed out of left field for them to ask?

just got an email letting me know my application is still under consideration and letting me know that I can submit updates in the portal or withdraw
I got this as well. Radio silence from them since I submitted my app in early September, so I hope this indicates I’ll get *some* notification on my application soon……..

I got an email that says "update opportunity" in the subject line. Do they send this to everybody that didn't get an ii yet and is it expected that I answer it?

Dude I am wondering the same thing. I was being completely patient and not trying to bother them with sending a letter of interest before my interview. But now they “suggest” we send one in??? It seems odd……… like yes I am still very interested……

Also received one. From what I personally think, maybe they are just looking to downsize their applicant pool for interviews especially by reminding those not interested to withdraw? I don’t think submitting a letter of interest would hurt too at this point

the odd part is that I haven't received an ii yet. I'm not sure how I feel about writing a letter of interest before interviewing. It should be assumed that you're interested in the school if you went through the trouble of applying and submitting secondaries

Many schools accept interest letters or update letters and it is not uncommon for applicants to submit one pre-II. I personally don't have knowledge as to how much adcoms weigh them but some people mention receiving an II after submitting one, but then again it could be luck. Wouldn't do any harm to your application but show you took the effort to reach out to them again. If you have anything new to add to your application, it might also benefit to send one in

Does anyone know if getting into or getting an II from midwesterns Arizona campus prevent you from getting an II from the Chicago campus?

Is it bad to book the online interview instead of in-person, I just can't take the time off right now to fly out and stay for a day to interview.

is there a point applying rn ? i thought that the application deadline was in december?

What's the fastest people have heard back from hear with a decision post interview?

They specifically stated that their selection committee only meets at the end of the month. So if you interview toward the end of the month, you’d hear back faster than someone who interviewed during the first weeks of the month. If you interviewed in Feb, you will not hear back until late Feb/early march. This was explicitly stated in my session

That's funny, I interviewed this past week and I had someone from admissions distinctly say before the end of the month haha

This is 1000% me being neurotic but I just got another checkmark for my transcripts being added. Does anyone know if this actually means anything extra? Just confused as to why that check mark would come up now if they've had my transcripts since I applied...

Under the application checklist i only have two checkmarks (one for MCAT score, one for rec letter 1). Are we only supposed to have one letter of rec show up on the checklist or two?

2 days for me (interviewed Friday, A on Monday). I think it might depend on how frequently adcoms meet, some schools meet once a month, others once a week, etc.
