Maybe if OOS is hearing back Wednesday Feb 17th (Ash Wednesday), then IS is hearing back Wednesday Mar 17th (St. Patrick’s Day)???

personally- even tho OOS decisions haven’t been released yet, i sent nc state my fafsa back in january when i was already sending it to schools i got accepted to!

I submitted FAFSA regardless of acceptance to schools. If you don’t go to school, you decline the funds but if you do go and haven’t filled out FAFSA, that’s a lot of money missed out on.

We recommend that all applicants complete the FAFSA by the March 1 priority deadline if they plan on attending school in the fall.

I would think it would be this week though huh? Especially considering the email said “mid-feb?” Maybe they’re just running a little behind.

Am I the only one who feels so bad for IS students who have no news whatsoever yet? I'm OOS and I'm already dying... I would hate to not have a single clue as to if I'm still in the running because they're taking forever to make this decision.

I am dying. Head banging the wall frustrated lololol. I refresh and check my email 24/7 in the hopes that movement will happen in some way so I know it's almost happening. One of my IS coworkers who applied got a denial (or disqualification?) back in December though so that makes me feel slightly better.
