I did not receive my confirmation of access until several weeks after I sent it (online). I actually reached out and they got back to me around a week after I emailed to confirm receipt of the transcript and just said they're very busy. Did you mail in or submit virtually?

As long as you got confirmation it was sent and the email address is correct, I wouldn't worry too much, but you could shoot them an email to make sure everything is in order.
I really wish! But if they just got done sending applications to review then we probably still got awhile 🙁
I hope so!! It's super nerve-racking that OOS found out 2/19 last year and they haven't started dropping any hints yet for us 😅

I totally understand this and am in complete agreement if it was any other school. I think because it's such a super tiny oos class, it's a little different. Almost everyone that is accepted goes because it's an absolutely phenomenal program and they offer is tuition after yr 1.

Omg patience is most definitely not one of my virtues. This waiting is super hard for me and gets harder every day lol.
Definitely a good point, I just like visiting before making a final decision and I don't wanna visit before the decisions just to get rejected. I have other schools with small OOS too but the decisions are at least by beginning of March. All in all, I just hate waiting so long! 😆
Is Raleigh pretty kid friendly? I’m currently in Knoxville, TN and the crime here is AWFUL. Constant shootings, deaths, etc.
I think we have crime for sure like anywhere else but I've lived here for almost 3.5 years now and have never had any concerns for safety! Ive lived kind of all on each side of the "perimeter" of Raleigh, but some of the more popular areas are like Cary and North Hills but they can be more on the expensive side in terms of housing/rent. If you want a bit more of a commute but generally cheaper rent people will live in Apex or Garner areas. I know some people who live in Durham because that is around 30-40 min from the school but Durham can be on the more expensive side as well depending on where you live. Inside the perimeter of the highway that runs around Raleigh is generally more expensive as you start entering the city limits.

*cries in CA rent* I'm from TX but went to undergrad in CA and this is so nuts to me! I lived in a shared room in a VERY small single-story, 2b1Bath with my roommate and another housemate. I paid 1K for my share of the room and overall we paid 4K a month. It was one of the cheaper living situations we could find in the area at the time. I got a better deal after that in an apartment with a single room for 1K and two apartment-mates for a total of 2.5K a month. I'm now living at home with my parents until vet school so yay free rent, but it always is so interesting to see what rent is like in different areas.
Yeah that's why i went back when i was typing that to edit and add that I know for some places that is probably really good rent 🤣 but where I went to undergrad I had a 4 bed with individual bathrooms for everyone and completely updated with utilities all included and an awesome clubhouse with game room and pool area for $450 a month. Those were the good ole days lol.

I lived in U Woods one year during undergrad and has the same experience, it was just cheap 😂 if you do live here I would highly recommend living with someone you know. They rent to anyone and I wound up being placed with some people that weren’t students, which made for a rough situation. This was in 2015-16 so maybe they have made some updates, but I also had several issues with appliances.
We had roach issues and I was there 2017-18

Do you remember the date they extended the transcript deadline to? I can't find that email, but that date would be helpful to gauge when we might hear!
