I agree, the day was pretty cool. Not sure but for me going around the Dalai Lama prayer wheel was lucky, so do that if when you go to the library at the end of the tour.

I got it too.

It seems that the IS people save about 16k on tuition over 4 years.

My best friend goes to nyit. He doesn't have much to say about it. He is honoring all his classes, but he never goes to class. He's just always home studying. But he is not involved with his class or school.. Like he's not in any groups or activities and doesn't try to make new friends.

My interview was 12/05/2013. I received my acceptance email 12/20/2013. The acceptance packet came early January. I believe the adcom dates were posted recently and are in this thread.

Lol waiting to hear back post interview varies. Some people heard within days.... Others (like me) heard back in 2 MONTHS. What an emotional roller coaster ride that was. But There was one girl on here who heard back in 3 months.

I thought I listed the dates in an earlier post... Scroll back a page and you'll find the dates.

Thank you! I didn't see the adcom dates, other than 4/8. I would truly hope there was a closer adcom date than that for 2/25 interview. I saw the interview dates though.

Well the last adcom meeting is 4/8, according to the calendar... so worst case you'll hear back around then.

Same situation as you. I'm kicking myself for getting one of those first batches of interviews because now it seems like most people are getting accepted. I sent a LOI a few months ago and they told me they won't start pulling off the wait list until April.

As Chillywilly mentioned earlier, it is very important to send update letters/letters of interests/additional recommendations from profs or physicians. It could be just your GP or a family friend or a neighbor but they need to emphasize they know you personally and you have the passion to make a great physician. Keep calling because they note in your file that you called and see it as interest in NSU; call to confirm they received your letters, call to emphasize your interest etc... even if you feel it's getting close to harassment. At this point there is nothing to lose. Linda Ferris's number is 954-262-1139.
