very laid back. I was only asked about 6-7 questions but each question led into a conversation from family members to baseball to living in New York.

Very relaxed. Lunch was great!
As Draco said, the interview was pleasant. They put a lot of effort in reading your application in advance. I got quite a few well designed questions based on my essays and my experiences.
Otherwise, I liked the admission staff (Dr. Mejia especially) and the students were nice. Not only did we get Jade, the president of the ADSA NYU Chapter (one of the most high energy 3rd year student) showing us around, but several students wished us good luck, made jokes, and during lunch some showed up at out table just to say hi and ask if we have questions.

New York university is top 30 for undergraduate students. Is the dental school really considered that great of a school? or would attending your state school be a better bet?
Is the dental school really that prestigious? Especially with the $350k+ cost for all four years?
Does anyone know what percentage of students specialize at this university?
With a 232 student class size, wouldn't getting a good class rank be hard? especially since 100 students accepted are very intelligent international students?
