I rejected an interview from them around a month ago, they aren’t match so they might be done ... but please don’t take my word for it because since I rejected them they stopped updating me

They've both already started interviewing - not sure if they are still interviewing more. AGH will start making offers next week, and the VA by Thanksgiving.

Hey has anyone heard of MAHEC GPR in Asheville sending out acceptances? I have heard through the grape vine (so may not be true) that they have, but there are still 2 more interview dates :shrug: !

how many programs are you supposed to rank? lets say you get 10 interviews, should you rank all 10 or just the ones you like the best?

I’d rank them in whatever order that is important to you, whether it’s salary, implant experience, endo, etc. I would not rank programs you don’t wanna end up at. Chances are that you will match to your 10th program and you have to go there because you ranked it. If you don’t like a program, simply don’t rank it

but is it okay to rank only 3?

You can always try post match. In general, rank the programs that you like higher. If you decide to rank a program that you don't like, there's a possibility you may end up there still, even if it's 10th on your list. Just because you're ranking a program #1 doesn't necessarily mean they rank you #1.

Not placing implants is a deal-breaker for some people, so when they find out more about the implant opportunities as a resident during the interview, they may decide not to rank it. If you are OK with going to a place that doesn't necessarily meet all your criteria, go ahead and rank it.

If your goal is to get in ANYWHERE, then you should rank as many programs as possible. If those 3 programs are the only places that you see yourself going to, I don't see why it wouldn't be ok to rank only 3!

I dont think it means anything. I sent a thank you email to a non-match program, and the program director replied the day after. I have yet to hear back from this program.

I sent a thank you email to another program and didnt hear back until I got accepted about 7 days after the interview

Did anyone get an invite from bellevue? They sent an initial email saying to look out for a follow up email within a week with interview dates.

They are basically the only specialty group at the school, so instead of having to share cases with the other residency programs they get to do a good portion of them. They also have very good facilities and equipment (CBCT, Microscopes, etc.)
