Has Pitt confirmed anybody’s interview date yet?
No, but I asked and they said they'll be sending them out later todayHas Pitt confirmed anybody’s interview date yet?
Depends on program size and the individual program. I think programs with small class sizes target around 30 interviewees, larger ones (Like St Louis, NYU, etc) will interview much more than that. The average number of applications per program is about 160 according to the ADADoes anyone know how many applicants interview at a program on average? And statistically speaking, what are the chances of acceptance after an interview?
yeah I think your only choice is to choose one and decline the other. Thankfully most programs offer 2 date options for the interview, but for those with just one option, we're kinda out of luck. But I'd definitely also check SDN for what dates were offered since I think one of the schools I was emailed with a single date option when others posted a different date. In that case, you might be able to find someone to switch dates with.If two interview dates conflict, you'd have to choose to attend one and decline the other offer right? Do programs ever schedule another date other than the specified date to interview just one person? Or does not being able to attend the interview on the designated date pretty much burn the bridge?
what were your stats?0 for 14 at this point…….lol
You would need to work on a research project and defend it at the end of the program. You do see your patients from start to finish. Academically, there may be more courses on research methods, epi, and biostat. Individual programs may have that set up differently. Not sure if I answered your question accurately.Anyone know if 3 year (masters) are harder/easier to get into than certificate programs?
Thank you for the information! I was just wondering which programs receive more applications. I've had a few school "confirm" that I am applying for one program and not the other, giving me more information about both programs and the option to switch. You would need to work on a research project and defend it at the end of the program. Unfortunately, most likely…. The last date to send the deposit is 9/28. If things fall through on a candidate, they will most likely offer the spot to someone else!If we haven’t heard a phone call from Seton, should we just assume ppl have already accepted and all spots are filled for now?
Yeah I think looking at the running list, there are a ton of overlapping interviews that second and third week in October!Just received an invitation for interview at St. Barnabas (email) for the same date that was stated by a previous post! I guess someone declined their interview?
No difference unless you want to go into academia. What are some differences for attending a school that offers an MS degree in addition to the certificate versues one that only offers the certificate with regards to future job prospects?
I know someone who had 7 that didn’t match. I also know someone who had 1 that did match. How many interviews does it usually take to get matched? Assuming that class sizes are 3-5 and one does well at the interviews.
Would you say 4+ is enough? I realize nothing is guaranteed but any 2cents would be appreciated.
I'm having the same issue! If someone could switch to the 27th who has an interview on the 25th or 26th?If anyone has an interview at Texas A&M on October 25th or 26th and would be willing to switch to October 27th, please let me know! I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks!
Atleast they told us kindly.VCU rejection email ✅
Curious about this as well!Anyone heard from Augusta or Louisville?
