What if it's like the rope in Clue....SnS with the Vanishing Cabinet to Ravenclaw House. Then it could be a cycling item vs. a role. Course it seems weird that no one has come forward to say they've seen or used it.

This almost makes me think it's a wolf using it. Players who don't share don't care.

How did the rope work? I didn't play that game.

It was a surprise to me. So either someone has a role that let's them move people, or an item.

👍 So the big question is why would they move SnS? To infiltrate or get her away from something/someone?

With the rope, you picked the person and room. So like SnS in the Kitchen. You'd then be moved wherever that person sent you, tied up and silenced.

Of course this cabinet doesn't silence. Is that significant?

Oooh...then that could definitely be an item. Has any game ever had items that only circulated with the wolves?

Or, maybe it's like that, but the DEAD players moved SnS. For confusion!

I don't think so, in HP it was just a transportation item, though you got the idea that it was an evilish item.

OK...I have to go to the barn before this storm hits. I'll try to be be back before lynch deadline.
 
I'm assuming that any information outing a death eater would be out by this time, so my guess is that if there were any investigations last night, they only revealed innocents. With that being said, we now have to decide who to lynch. Does anyone have ANY ideas? I'm at a loss at this point. Do we want to return to the whole nyanko/sheeps/wildcatj messaging debacle? I still can't make sense of that, since my only theory was shot down by the fact that wildcatj didn't tell anyone she was investigating nyanko.

I still don't know why an investigation would come back as blocked if nyanko didn't have an item. And I think that the cabinet sound like an item, but I have no idea why anyone (wolf or villager) would move SnS.

So basically.... short version: I'm confused. Haha. I also think a conversion happened last night, so anyone previously cleared can no longer be trusted.

I know my other group members' identities.

Who is left in the other respective groups who has not revealed their identity to SOMEONE?

Our group is discussing someone, but I think we are all too nervous to throw it out here until we hear more.

My group has been *really* quiet. I've sent a couple of messages, but admittedly didn't have much to say. I have not told my role to anyone, and I don't know the role of anyone in my group (besides Lissa, of course).

I still think foxhunter doesn't know she's playing. Womp womp.

Hufflepuffs have been pretty quiet. I haven't shared my role with anyone and don't know anyone's except Lissarae's but that came out when she died.

Out of curiosity, I just looked at her profile. She lasted posted in the sign-up thread 4 days ago, but it says her last SDN activity was yesterday at 7 pm. So who knows. 😕

I just want to give us more time for investigation, and I have been busier than usual today...

so lynch foxhunter

If she doesn't know she is playing or too busy to play after 4 days, then her role cannot help us, and it gives us another day to investigate.

I will try to check and see if there are any better theories later, but honestly it looks like another shot in the dark today. :meanie:

It doesn't seem like there have been any investigatory items given to players in Griffindor yet which is kind of frustrating. :meanie::meanie:

She sort of sounds like Pepperoni in LOTR when he just stopped playing, though she never even started. She's probs innocent, but she may be sitting on items and they aren't getting passed? 😕

What if she gets one of the investigative items for a few days. We lose out. I think a non=playing person is a potential liability to the students. And if she is a wolf, even better. Obviously we can't assess her wolfishness if she says nothing!
 
We have a supposedly big storm coming in tonight. I have to go move all of the outside stuff so that it doesn't get blown away. Since we have nothing else to go on lynch foxhunter. Hopefully we get some info out of the upcoming night cycle.

I didn't even think about her getting items. That's an excellent point, and enough for me to lynch foxhunter. It would be a shame to lynch someone who doesn't even know they're playing, but after 4 days... we can't risk the RNG leaving her with an investigative or otherwise helpful item, even if only for one day.

I agree. I hate lynching quiet people. But silent people for an entire game?

I just wonder if the mods have tried to contact her/something happened in real life preventing her from playing? If that's the case, in the LOTR game Pepper was just replaced with a more active player???

We have sent her Pms multiple times with roles, I think she had an item once and we sent her a reminder about the item and haven't heard anything back :/

Hmm but someone said she had been online--so she would have seen those messages?? So odd...I just feel bad for people who didn't get the chance to play, and for lynching her if she really has no idea she was playing in the first place. 😕
 
I'll lynch foxhunter, too. I hate to if she's a good character, but if she's not playing said good character, then she's doing none of us any good.

At least this way we don't lose any of the active villagers. And hey, if she's a wolf: BONUS!
 
This could very be why our nights have been so long.

lynch foxhunter. Doesn't make sense to keep someone around who doesn't even know they're playing.
 
Lynch Foxhunter I agree that being silent for the entire game so far isn't doing anyone any good. I understand life events getting in the way, but just say so.
 
Just got back...so I looked up Foxhunter's posts, and it doesn't look like she's posted on SDN since the HP sign-up thread. If she has her email notification off then she might not know. So unless the mods are going to replace her with a person playing wouldn't lynching her just help the wolves? If she is a student, she's still a number, right?

So at this point, are we just lynching to kill time?
