Just got wait listed for interview for MWU-AZ. Any else get wait listed? And also, for those of you who have been waitlisted, anyone hear back from the wait list... I mean get an interview after being on the waitlist?
 
Please PM me if you need a place to stay and transportation to/from airport & interview. I'm a current student and can answer questions you have as well. Thanks
 
I got waitlisted for interviews about a week ago as well. I guess we'll see how it goes.

Don't worry about it. I know a few people in my class that interviewed in January and February, so you still have a chance.

I also got that email. I guess they are trying to recruit....
 
Hey guys, sorry to keep asking but is anyone interviewing on Dec.3rd or after who would like to interview on Dec. 1st instead? I have a test on the 1st and I'm afraid I can't interview on the same day...If anyone is interested in switching please message me. Thank you and good luck to everyone!
 
So I have an interview January 14th ish (I forgot what date exactly). I got the interview back in like August. It didn't say anything about a wait list or anything, just an interview. Why so late and what does it mean?

It doesn't mean anything. They've had several dates open up since August which you could have selected to interview at instead of the date you picked. I was originally scheduled to interview in December but I was able to move it up to October because they released several more interviewing dates earlier. Somebody was kind enough to announce that Midwestern had opened more dates on SDN, but besides that students were not notified of the earlier dates.
 
Oh I see. I only had January dates available when I picked and I didn't know more opened up.

I'm a D2 here this year and I know everyone has a few questions on what is going to happen on interview day so I hope this post will help you all some.
  • All interviews start at 8AM, regardless of what day you pick.
  • In general, you'll be split into two groups A + B, one group will interview while other gets a tour of the main campus.
  • Interviews are slotted to be approximately 30 minutes long but it's possible you may go over or under the time limit. Whether your interview goes on for 40 minutes long or 20 minutes long does not necessarily dictate whether or not you get in.
  • You'll be interviewed by 2 faculty members and 1 D2 student.
  • Questions vary from day to day but I believe everyone that interviews that day gets the same questions.
  • No essays or strange activities as far as I know. Just question and answer type interview.
Hope that helps! The interview is supposed to be really relaxed and more of a conversation, so don't be scared! Please feel free to message me with any questions you may have regarding the interviewing PROCESS or the school itself. I don't know the what questions they ask during the interview at all so no messages about that please. Good luck to all of you!

When you checked on the portal where did you see you had been accepted? Was it on the home page, or under one of the pre-accepted links?

Must have been on the Midwestern portal when you try to click the links for "matriculation/payment" or "accepted student checklist". Did that portal update at midnight or later in the day in previous years?

When I click on the accepted student checklist link it says "This checklist is available to accepted applicants." right now.

From previous years I read that it updates sometime on the day of acceptance.
 
Guys besides the website, are there any other links where I can get to know more about the school? The site is quite brief on its program :/
 
As they did last year, they probably will call. Fingers crossed.

Go click on Accepted Student Checklist! All these forms show up that indicate an acceptance and none of it was there last night or even an hour ago when I checked. Good luck!
 
I have my downer grove acceptance but nothing from glendale....
 
I just clicked the accepted student checklist on the midwestern portal and a bunch of stuff came up with required document, required transcript, required prereqs. Is this what you guys are talking about?
