As I mentioned, a seer... worthwhile to keep a seer around... if we are wrong on this, we lose a valuable piece to get ALL the wolves... if we are right, we only get 1 of several wolves.

I was really adamant one game not too long ago that lynching the "seer" was a bad idea. Stuck to it and the "seer" was not lynched for quite some time, turns out the "seer" was a wolf. Yeah, I get what you are saying but I do not see how it is possible for Tamara to not only be a villager but to ALSO be a seer and HELPING the villagers... seems off to me.

I didn't design the game. Beats me. I read up on Tamara and Greg. I agree all indications say that Tamara would be a wolf. Chalk it up to the devious minds of Escalla and kaydubs.

Or, maybe I turn into a wolf when I find Owen. Or when magic is released, if that is a mechanic in the game. Who knows. I am not a wolf now, and I have helped other villagers as far as I am able. (My role works every other night.)

hey, I admit its fishy, and very well may find myself with egg on my face.

I was also real adamant about not getting abbers lynched 2 games ago, and was right about that... and then she got converted, and I was wise enough to lynch her in the end of the game...
 
Sorry guys...just got home from clinics.

Had the quill and ink last night which lets you PM someone through the mods, but I didn't use it, and was told someone stole it from me. Other than that, nothing major to report...super sad we lost Henry though...he makes people believe in magic....Wonder what that'll do to the game mechanics?

Tamara is for sure bad in the show...sooo my gut is telling me lynch FFM today.

I've been dealt my share (more than my share, really) of shady-ass characters who are villagers, but I've never been given one where virtually everybody familiar with the theme was saying "no way is that character a villager."

The 'egg on face' could be on mine. I get it. But I'm just not going to stare an obviously evil wolf character in the face and not vote to lynch. If the mods screw us by making a clearly evil character a villager, then they screw us.

This....I didn't change my vote last night because I was asleep, but after reading her defense, I doubt I would have changed it just because she said..."ohhh don't vote for me, someone can vouch, but person...please don't come forward".
Plus, you knew I had switched my vote....you pointed it out that I changed from fantasy and then 20 mins later claimed you didn't know why she only had one vote left.....
 
Things I wish I knew the answer to:
- did 'the apple' kill Nstarz or were the apples in the write up just to make it interesting?
- do certain characters need to pair up before magic is released, and if so, are items useless until that happens ( I remember someone saying they used the top hat and just looked good in it... I am wondering if that is because it was not in the right hands or if magic has not been released)?
- was SOV protected from the apple as a general protection, or was that specific to his role ( and on that note, which character would be safe from the poisonous apple)?
- how many typos will be in this post since I suck at typing on my phone?
- who can I actually trust in this game?!?!

I think that the hat needs to find it's way to the Mad Hatter in order for something to happen.

I'm assuming this part is aimed at me? I knew you had unlynched someone, but couldn't remember who and I was trying to keep a lynch tally in my head. I have really crappy internet right now(11mbps, when it should be 56!). It takes a while to refresh, if it works at all.

Like I said before. If, at 30 minutes til deadline, people had not been waffling off of me, yes I would have role revealed myself. I was hoping saying I had someone that could vouch for me would work, and it did. And we will hear from someone about it(hopefully!) in the next 24 hours.

And no, I could not start the message line during that lynch, because we couldn't PM within groups.

I think that's the case.

Night one I had the magic lamp, nothing happened when I used it. Certain items must have certain conditions or character requirements to work.
 
Ok, so I got a red hooded cloak last night. Because red looks so dang good on me, I decided to put it on.

Does anyone know what it does?

Also, my thoughts so far are the following:
WS is always suspicious, she just talks herself into a hole..the combo of what she says and how she says it makes her seem suspicious. But how often is she actually a wolf?
FFM as Tamara... I have never seen the show, but I've read some of the wiki and I do agree that she sounds evil. I have been in contact with someone claiming to be Owen (and looking for Tamara). From what they say, I highly doubt they are a wolf. From what this person says, they also don't think Tamara would be a wolf. But I'm torn. I've role revealed with them, but have told them not to vouch for me just yet.

I really don't get the reason behind these comments. We all know (more or less) that the roles are randomized each game... her chance of being a wolf is equal to the chance that everyone had of being a wolf this game, it makes zero sense to make a comparison such as, "well how often are they REALLY a wolf" or "so and so is ALWAYS a wolf".

Except, I hadn't done anything to be suspicious the first lynch. That was purely a bandwagon. THEN, I said someone could vouch for me. Which they can. And you will all see within a day. All I'm asking is for you to wait.

There have been plenty of other games where someone says, "I can prove I'm a villager, just please wait" and everyone backs off for a day or two for them to prove it. All I'm asking for is the same courtesy you all give the "big" players.

What I'm trying to say is how often is WS actually a wolf when we lynch her for being suspicious or whatnot? Like someone might say that they get suspicious of someone in a few games and they be right. I don't think we are usually right about her...

We can say that about a lot of people. If you lynch the same person every game, how often will they actually be a wolf... my guess not often. It is just a silly thing to compare in my opinion. That is previous games, we are not playing those games.. this is a new game. Time to start over and look at information from this game and not dwell on past ones like that. (Look at past games for mechanics and the like, but not for comparison of well that person is a wolf a lot, or that person is a good wolf, or that person is always a wolf, or lynching that person usually gives us a villager... those are all speculation and do not follow logic).
 
so darn confused till I started watching the show last night.

Tamara seems to always be evil but for those of you who played doce mega man WW, remember how in mega man the evil people always had red eyes, I looked at fonz in the magic mirror and it told me he has red eyes...and then he ended up being mega man and not a bad guy? So I guess mods don't always stick to story lines and facts 100%

I got yelled at for the above for awhile so just thought I'd point it out.

My guess is the cloak is protective. In the show granny told Red that the cloak would protect her from wolf attacks but only if she wore it. In reality it actually protected everyone else from wolf attacks.
 
There are literally no redeeming qualities about Tamara on the show. It's not an iffy character it's an evil one. I could maybe see her as a neutral separate win condition character but not a villager. Maybe once she finds Owen/Greg they learn more about the win condition. I really can't buy her as a villager.

OMG.If I were modding I'd *so* use that. I wouldn't make it that powerful, of course (i.e. that only the wearer was killable by wolves), but I'd definitely do something with it. Maybe give the wolves no seers but make it so whoever wore the cloak had their role revealed to the wolves (sorta a bullseye-ish sorta effect). Maybe give a 25% chance that the wolf attack that night was diverted to the person in the cloak. Or even 50%. Hm.

Um. I dunno. Something. But I'd definitely use it.

Okay that's not quite what I meant with the cloak thing but I look forward to seeing that in one of your games. I was trying not to spoil anyone so I guess I'll use wld's white text model. SPOILERS:Red was actually the werewolf that was killing people. Granny had the cloak made to prevent her from turning into a wolf. She didn't want Red to know she was a monster so she told her that the wolf couldn't kill her if she wore the cloak. Of course Red keeps forgetting the cloak and goes off killing people.

Neutral/chaotic with no win condition. For all the times I have been a "neutral"/chaotic character, if not told I had a separate win condition, I have counted as a villager.

Anyways, I see why people are having trouble believing me, but you are going to lynch a villager seer.

Role Name.

I am quite certain there are a few villager seers in this game, getting different info or same info at different times. I think the person who got my role name has prob the same abilities as me.
