So I was kidnapped by a shadow during night 4 and wasn't allowed to post or PM until day 6 (which was good because it was super crazy yesterday). I find it interesting that the shadow apparently also steals votes?

I have some breathing space tonight so I will to reread the thread in a bit... just need to replace my car's stupidly-placed-and-ridiculous-to-access battery first.

🙁 Would have been nice if she would have PM'ed me and confided in me.

I think so. The Hatter's Hat was quoted in the write-up as being taken out of play, but that didn't happen with the cloak.

Wouldn't make much difference if the item was only useful for that person, which I assume was the case with the hat. Therefore if the hood is still in play, I think it's more likely that it does have some function in general (I maintain my guess of protection) and just apparently hasn't been needed.

That's a good point. Maybe it protects only specific types of attacks

I dont see why not. Its been said on thread that there is for sure someone who can vouch for me. Rojo saif this. Others know who i am and who my partner is. If they thought there was any -nkling that my character could be bad, you can bet someone would have asked about -it on thread. But no one has. Because there is no doubt about my characters allegiance. Sometimes you have to go on facts and good reasoning skills alone amd just confide in that person who is most likely a villager. If you talked to only the people you seered, well that wouldnt help the villagers at all. No onformation would be shared and only the wolves would know what is going on.

I thought the Mad Hatter's Hat was mentioned in a later write up, not in the same one as when the Mad Hatter died? Maybe I am thinking of something else though.

Still, just because someone vouches for you on the thread doesn't mean everyone should automatically confide in you. I find that attitude a bit odd.

Sometimes you have to go on facts and good reasoning skills alone amd just confide in that person who is most likely a villager. If you talked to only the people you seered, well that wouldnt help the villagers at all. No onformation would be shared and only the wolves would know what is going on.

Not really. I've been a wolf in several games where DVMD was the driving force behind getting villagers lynched for us.

lynch lupin...IDK, she just seems quieter than normal but lynching quiet players has definitely gotten us into some trouble this game so if any compelling info comes out and I'm able to make it on before work tomorrow I'll definitely waffle

How many seers have we lost now? 1? 2? All of this "vouching" is frustrating at this stage in the game and it seems like pretty much everyone has one person who can "vouch" for them yet it could be so easy for a wolf to persuade one person. I worry that we've lost all of our seers and there won't be any true sources of credibility left. Please don't misinterpret this as me asking you to out yourself if you can investigate. I'm just thinking out loud/venting frustrations.

yeah... this game has been super demoralizing, and i still have nothing to really go on since it seems like every single time someone has been a bit suspicious of someone else, the vouching thing happens and the suspicion gets dropped rather than hashed out. blergh

My attitude about it is not odd. She should have confided in someone in our group and I AM the most logical choice for villager. She obviously didnt confide in anyone as no one spoke up for her. The same goes for Nohika and her group.

She could have easily been saved from lynching, both of them. Even though she would have been mod killed, we ciuld have tried to get a wolf that lynch.

Well, besides outting people, not sure what other information I have. Since I have vouched for several people, and know of a few more people, I can give a list of everyone I know, and if you don't think I should know you, you can try to dispute the people I know...

Yes, use a villager who had found his match, has a ton of connections, and has implied that he might be hard to kill (am I just bull****ting to scare off the wolves, or am I speaking the truth? )... Brilliant idea!

Believe the people I am standing up for or not. Like I said, I can only be 100% on the identity of my matched person... everyone else, well, it has been a bunch of behind the scenes people telling me who they are, or more importantly, telling me who other people are and that they recommend not lynching them... are wolves vouching for each other via me? Maybe. So, lynch one of the people i'm vouching for and see if I'm FOS or not

There is no better way than someone vouching for soneone else. Anyone could come on and say so ansd so was seered and clear. Would you believe that more? They could still be making that up.

There have been games wherr wolves falsely seered someone and posted on thread tfhat so and so is a wolf. And we've all lynched them. Nothing is 100% in this game unless you are the seer yoirself. And even then you can only 100% trust your results for 1 night hecause of conversions.
