I'm feeling somewhat suspicious of Orca today. It's weird to me that at 4 minutes to deadline she took her vote off a person who was no longer at risk and threw it on a person who wasn't even being considered. It's not great reasoning but as I have nothing better to base my vote on, right now I'm going to

lynch Orca

Lynch Lupin. That shiz sounds like it came from an....interesting.....mind.

Exhibit A (haunts my dreams, Lupe):

I dunno. Not outright saying you're wrong, and I don't know anything about Orca, but.... I know sometimes when these bandwagons get rolling... and then people start defending the bandwagonee.... sometimes it is hard to tell if they are still in the lead or not, especially if you're skimming. So I've certainly done something similar thinking the person I'm currently lynching might still be in the lead, but not wanting to lynch them anymore, so I unlynch and throw it on someone else. I wouldn't necessarily throw it on someone "being considered" unless I wanted to lynch them, too.

This is one of the reasons I don't really like it when mods update lynch tallies rather than just posting new ones - it's sometimes very hard to tell if it includes votes made after the post and so it makes it confusing to try and know where the lynch vote is at. It would be nice if they'd at least include a comment like "includes lynch votes through post #XXX" just for clarity.

If others also prefer me to just update with new tallies regularly, I can totally do that.

Wasn't meant as a complaint. I get that it's easier as a mod to just update an existing post. I just find it harder as a player.
Not taken as a complaint! I don't care either way, i just sometimes feel like I'm clogging up the thread with tons of tallies.

But i people would prefer that I'm 100% game to do it.

I actually looked at that when I was thinking about it because I agree, it gets confusing. The last updated tally was posted two minutes before she waffled though and she was the next person to post anything related to lynch votes. I feel like confusion about the tally is lowest when you have a brand new update. That said, I'm not saying it's great reasoning or urging you all to vote orca... I just don't have anything else and it seems like no one else does either.

If others also prefer me to just update with new tallies regularly, I can totally do that.

Personally, I would be for this if it's not a hassle.

It would definitely make it easier to know if the lynch tally is up to date and then you don't have to attempt to scroll back through to find the one lynch tally post on the page. But if you can't do it, I totally understand too. Especially with how often players can be dining at the waffle house.

Not I. Finally a villager once again. Also a note to my PM folk, I was lulled asleep and can't chat til I awake.
Trying to clear something up, do you know if you need to be healed to "wake up"? Also, did being "lulled to sleep" have any other effects (blocked night abilities, etc)?

This was my response:

You heard a very soothing song last night, and fell promptly asleep! While you are sleeping, you may not PM with anyone.

So no mention of whether healing is needed or what. As far as I can tell it is only PM affected.

I think @hazelmoo mentioned she was sent a full restore and woke up.

@orca2011 what say you to your lynch?

alright someone needs to start talking so we all quit this random naming ish. im ready for some strategy. or maybe it's totally there and going right over my head. can we bring this talk down to like a 4th grade level?

You should tell him about what you did with your plumbus. Talk about ****ed up. 😱😉

LOL I forgot about that!

I think @hazelmoo mentioned she was sent a full restore and woke up.

Yeah, I was told you either need to be healed or you'll eventually wake up naturally. In the games, it takes like 2-4 turns to wake up naturally so I'm guessing that many nights!

In that case, if anyone can restore me, that would be lovely.

This is so dumb. I wasn't glued to what was going as I had a ton of paperwork to do for my rotation the next day. I wasn't watching the tally constantly to know who was in the lead at any given moment and I have a hard time keeping tract of it when it's just updated and not a new post. Plus, it seemed like a ton of people just jumped on what I said, so I thought she was possibly in the lead and would rather not lynch a potential protection roll.

My reason for switching to someone not in the lead was because I didn't feel particularly strongly about anyone else and I thought I'd stick to my logic of going with someone who seemed to jump on the teepster lynch.

Also, if you have suspicions of me, feel free to approach me via PM instead of lynching me for something dumb like this. I opened up the lines of communication...

Great, just when I was about to nap! I am 100% villager. I don't know if either of my PM buddies can vouch for me yet, but I've been fairly open so far with them and the group in general.

I was going off this from yesterday. Rocky replied with this afterwards:

Guys! Don't lynch teep. I know his role and I can 100% verify it. He is a villager!!

Teep did role reveal to me, and I partially did to him. That's why I tried to keep him from getting lynched. Reference day 2 when I mentioned I fell victim to a fire attack and confessed I was a villager. He told me yesterday he was Growlithe and seered me the first night.

I was going off this from yesterday. Rocky replied with this afterwards:
He might have talked to rocky. But my PM with him was literally three messages. I opened it, he asked what coast I was on/why I didn't sleep because it was the middle of the night, I said I was West coast so it wasn't that late where I was. End of convo. Really not exciting.

Lupin's quote from Teep indicates that they were open with both of their role PM buddies... Granted it could be that they just meant rocky and it could be that with the defense from rocky yesterday just made him a more tempting target, but yeah. It's more than nothing to go on, so

Lynch aloha

I don't see how it's any dumber than most of the reasons people use to lynch vote at this stage of the game. Everybody's clueless.
Plenty of people vote on feels. Your posts yesterday felt fishy to me. I figured lynching on that was better than random selection.

Also, I tend not to utilize PMs very much, particularly with people I don't yet have any reason to trust.

unlynch orca

For now anyways.

Also, do we think Teep may have been too open with PM buddies hence the kill?

Teep's death said her body was unmarked but that there was a fire stone nearby. Growlithe can evolve using a fire stone. Sounds to me like she tried evolving and died from the virus.

I think the Teep death theory makes sense.
But I trust Rocky from my conversations with her.
And I find it weird that Teep specifically mentioned being open with BOTH, and Aloha is denying it?
So I'm going to go with a lynch aloha for now.

Except now re-reading I see the firestone thing. I didn't realize stones could kill? I thought they were for evolving.

Edit: Ignore me, I just re-read some stuff and I get the logic now. Not sold that it wasn't a wolf kill, but I see the hesitation.

But wouldn't he evolved, and died an Arcanine if he died from the virus?(for those that don't know, a Growlithe normally evolves into an Arcanine by holding a Firestone).

I'm thinking someone killed him the same night he obtained a firestone, though it's possible that the write-up tried to say the firestone killed him, I just personally think it's less likely.

With the advent of all these deaths, he had started quietly "investigating" someone new every night. If they left their investigations a little singed, that wasn't his problem, right? Well, somebody had a problem with it. He was found dead, his body completely devoid of any signs of struggle or cause of death. A fire stone laid on the ground just a couple feet away...

"Somebody had a problem with it" sounds like a kill, not a virus.

Hmmm, yeah with all the vivid deaths recently I had forgotten that Prof. Oak also died unmarked.

Oh good catch. It also says no sign of struggle or anything, but then again so did Prof Oak's death if I recall correctly...
It also said:

Outside Pallet Township...

There was a cute, fluffy growlithe who had taken up residence in the forests several years ago. He had once been a police pokemon, and thus tried his best to help keep order. With the advent of all these deaths, he had started quietly "investigating" someone new every night. If they left their investigations a little singed, that wasn't his problem, right?

I'm curious about the weather statements in the write-ups so far. Has anyone noticed any pattern with them? From what I know in the pokemon games the weather/environment affects the ability of pokemon types in battle. Strong sun "Sunny Day" -> advantage for fire and grass type, Raining -> advantage for water.

I'd have to have a poke-expert confirm if I'm remembering it correctly.
