After seeing multiple posts of yours, you seem like the typical naive premed who thinks a very tiny difference in clinical opportunities is going to have a dramatic difference on your career path. Let's be serious, medical school is medical school. And when you're talking about schools like UTSW and Baylor, the difference is almost negligible in terms of what is a better school. Some people believe a stronger basic science background is what is essential in a medical school because they get plenty of training during residency and fellowship anyways. That is not to say that UTSW isn't strong clinically; in fact, I would say it's just as strong or stronger than Baylor if you look at the hours of clinical experience 3rd and 4th year students get as well as how much responsibility they're allowed. But of course, you're probably in that 99% of people who judge clinical strength based on how pretty the facilities are. In the end, the choice between UTSW and Baylor really comes down to gut feeling, because you honestly can't go wrong with either school.
