I strongly disagree. VV said there's a 3p GROUP out there, someone tried to convert shorty, and Cyndia said there's a cult like group out there. The obvious and reasonable conclusion is it's a cult, or something that functions exactly like it.
Anti-village, in any case, and anti-wolf as well. Also, I'm mainly talking to wolves when I say they should kill cubs; what made you feel the urge to respond here?

I recall LIS saying this type of thing when LIS played in game.

Here is what I recall:

When he felt generous, LIS would often toss out useful nuggets of WW wisdom to noobs about woofy strategy, at least that’s what I recall from waaaay back then.

Otherwise, some players would get sucked into “poor me/woe is me/my life sucks irl” posts, and then they'd feel sorry for the woeful player, and leave them alone, because they felt sorry for them.

Later, it would turn out the woeful player was a woofy player who had lied, conned and deceived players, by tugging at their emotional heartstrings. Many softy players had fallen for the woofy ruse, and simply left that woeful player alone, and didn't press them anymore.

So ... I recall LIS had warned people to watch out for heartstring-tugging strategies, and to not get suckered into a woofy con job.

Do not dismiss woofy woe-is-me-irl strategies, without more careful analysis, LIS would say.

That’s pretty much what I recall right now.

I’m not saying there’s not a cult? I said you can’t assume the extra vote belongs to them?

I think she meant that the ? Couldn’t be 100% linked to the cult. At least that’s how I interpreted it.

Yes, I agree with you that MJ could be NAI.

But, I don't think anyone knows for sure, and I don't know for sure.

Now ... wondering if @Mad Jack will ask the mods for a sub because he has claimed to be dealing with too much irl stress in his life right now?

Because ... there are 2 subs who can play in this game, and take MJ's place (AceHydro and WonderingStudent are listed on the game roster).

All I know for sure is that cubs is able to try to get players to join his group, and that he is challenging to kill (this is a paraphrase of a paraphrase).

I don't know if that means he was telling the truth about it specifically being yeets or if its any death avoidance, but if anyone has another vig shot or item, you know what to do... We definitely shouldn't vote him today since it'll likely be a wasted vote, and that way we can either leave it to up to a vig or the wolves to handle. Also means he was likely actually wolf hunting, though people going after him can't be cleared as wolves. There's also definitely the possibility he recruited others successfully prior to last night, but glad to know he failed last night.

I will explain in more detail later when I am on my computer, but she had some posts in the last few days that didn’t sit well with me at all. I’d quoted some of them in real time and said I didn’t like them. She was in my pool of people I was more interested in yesterday too.

You’d rather kill the cult than wolves? That’s a little misguided. The cult is useful for wolf hunting. Maybe if there were some wolves already off the board it would make sense.

I don’t fully agree. Cults grow as the game goes on. In some ways, I think they can be a bigger threat than wolves because of that.

We should continue wolf hunting, but this is a real concern now too.

Dearest friends,
While my last letter remained hopeful and optimistic. I must now move on to more grave matters of concern. Today now marks the second day in which I believe cubs to be a wolf among us. While he attempted to aid our worry with the claim of MsP last night, my experience with both the role and ability do not bring me comfort that cubs surely has our best interests at heart. I have had this ability on multiple occasions and with both affiliations. I am also quite unsure how to feel about cyndia and dolphin.

Wtf is NAI? I'm still playing I just need some time to sort things out. The mods literally have a copy of my lost luggage receipt and I've been commiserating with them, give me a goddamn break

No because I don’t have any kind of night action. Has anyone had any kind of redirection or similar actions used on them this game that would cause someone else to appear or be linked to an action?

This is like, really weirdly reactive given that April was saying she might move her OUT of the POE for item usage. I missed it this morning and just caught it while I'm going back to update the spreadsheet.

Yes you answered my question but no that's not what I meant about it

If you intentionally did NOT use the item at all, it would have made you more village to me. I understand your original post now that you did use the item, it just didn't get activated overnight, which I misinterpreted as you didn't choose to use it at all. The fact that you used it (regardless of whether or not it got activated) does not change my read of you at all. Only would have been if you intentionally did NOT use it
