Best case scenario: no yeet/death avoidance and the yeet actually goes through

Otherwise, if we don’t vote for him and the wolves don’t kill him tonight then we’re in the same spot tomorrow but a day later and who knows what he can do at night.

Worst case would be we vote him, he lives, and the wolves don’t kill him to try to force us to have to vote him again

Also, tbh what a confidence rollercoaster. The first people I strongly suspected (cubs and AM) are both scum but somehow neither are wolves. So... a win for me (?)

The one thing I’m thinking of this morning - samac keeps referencing our noob game and how village worked together with the wolves to eliminate the cult, and that’s true, but I was a wolf in that game and IIRC, we killed the remaining cult leader because we had figured out they were a seer, and then they happened to be a cult leader. I’d have to dig up wolf chat to confirm this next part, but I don’t recall us being like “yes, we must kill the cult leader” and making a concerted effort to figure out who it was.

Which obviously worries me a bit because we were a good and noble wolf pack who left flowers on the bodies of people we killed sometimes because we felt bad, but I’m a little leery of banking on them to hold up their end of the bargain if we do this.

I guess if they NK someone else, we just don’t revisit it and it goes back to being a game of chicken to see which side takes him down because someone will have to eventually if we don’t want to throw.

Nah let me think you were noble and good cult killing wolves.

But that’s my vote, we do this, if he doesn’t die it’s on the wolves at that point. If they don’t kill him they’re throwing it just as much as we are. I’d prefer to get the cult out and go back to killing each other wolf vs village, but it’s on them to make that call I guess.

If they need a plurality we've got plenty of time and would be better off hunting wolves for a couple days before dealing with cubs. I'm not a WW game historian ... and that means I am NOT familiar with whatever stuff people did in past WW games, given the last time I played WW was 4 years ago.

Is rojo the one who mistakenly forgot they were in a woof chat, or something like that, and then they posted something about their woof chat on a thread in a WW game?

That's actually from before my time, but yes, thedrjojo, role name Dina claimed she knows cubs is, is the person infamous for posting things meant for wolf chat in the wrong place. My understanding is it happened multiple times too, which is why they started calling it a rojo after him.

Though I'm not sure why it's a rojo vs a jojo, given his username.

How do you feel about cubs' posts since that was claimed?

I will also say you don’t know me, but the folks who do I think there’s a very small number that would convert me. I was converted in RvB, I won, but felt so bad about it and begged not to be a convert target again. I haven’t since because people respected that.

Edit: this also relates to cub’s prenup comment.

We have no evidence to indicate cubs can only convert on even nights. That’s just wild speculation. I’m afraid he can convert every night and a coordinated effort would stop it, if the wolves realize how big of a threat it really is they’d be onboard with this cult take down cycle

Okay so regarding the whole yeet/night kill the cult leader deal thing:

I see what MJ is saying. That on principle it’s shocking for village to make a deal with the devil. And that village shouldn’t trust the wolves to hold up their end and night kill him anyway if the yeet doesn’t work today. And to just make the wolves deal with it.

However, as Samac is saying, if we’re saying we can’t trust the wolves to night kill him, then why are we relying on the wolves to night kill him? Because that’s the logic of the above argument. Don’t trust the wolves to night kill him, but also rely on them to do it.

I agree with Samac as distasteful as it might be, we have to try.

I'm not sure I'm convinced that "I strongly disagree" followed by a summary of the situation is "stretchy".

I could share with you my current WW notes list. With the footnote that I acknowledge I’m not being a great villager in the sense that through the game I have read about half the pages and mostly passively. Although this current day cycle I have been able to keep up now that the pace has calmed down more at work and on game.

My best guess with why shorty wasn’t converted is that it’s perhaps an odds thing, like they have to RNG to see if the action is successful, I think there was a role like that in RvB

What if the "?" is a cult related vote that only occurs when someone has been successfully converted?
Although I hope that tinfoil isn't the case because it would mean there's at least three cult members out there.
