I'm really hoping there isn't a chaos because then that means end game is closer than I thought. Seeing allie had the same issue I did, I'm starting to worry if a convert would even have the ability to do that.

I don't see how anything other than chaos could both redirect you and stop a lynch. Those aren't exactly abilities that go together.

Could potentially have come from different sources but then we're kind of at the same problem.
 
We begin the night with ToeJam who has been mourning Earl and hating on cows since that gorgeous bovine fell on Earl and squashed him (#SketchMasons #TeamRocket). It seems, through her tears, she did not see (or hear) someone sneak up on her. Instead of a sneak attack, there was a challenge issued, and an epic boss battle began. However, AM didn't have much enthusiasm as she just wanted to have her Earl back and curse bovines. Her final words before she was slashed to pieces were: "That :cow: can suck it!" Ded is @Animal Midwife - ToeJam (mason). May you be reunited in the Funkotron afterlife.

Elsewhere, it seems another bovine has taken to the skies (those poor cows!!!). @LetItSnow looked up just as it landed on his head squishing him. Ded is Liu Kang (vanillager). There were no fireballs or lightning bolts that followed this event, so one can only assume someone took offense at his statements of little bloodshed and bloodthirst on the mod-gods behalf (lotta creative flair....I think....)

Dvmd, did you get any indication of a dead chat when you died? I didn't, but the does it seem like the day write up yesterday mentions them?

Or am I reading too far into this

Yes to dead chat have no clue if they can participate, I was told to leave if I really want back in the game. I'll have to reread the write up.
 
Ok, so here is where I'm at:
To start, I'm assuming we have a convert (AM said we must, I'll take her word for it, and it makes sense to me), and to be extra cautious I'm assuming we have chaos messing with things since AM and Allie both had weird things happen to them and died village. If the convert is the one doing those things then great, one less thing to worry about, but I'd rather err on the side of caution.

If I'm right our numbers are currently 3:1:1. That means we have to lynch the wolf or chaos today. If we screw up and a villager gets killed overnight, it's 1:1:1 tomorrow and...I honestly don't know what that means. Probably a wolf and chaos win, maybe just chaos.

I think MJ is ok. Take that with as many grains of salt as you like, but his behavior (referring more to PM than on thread) has been classic village MJ. I can't technically rule him out as chaos but...I think that's low likelihood.

Sporty is still my top suspect. I could see her as wolf or chaos. On the off chance she is village and the game is still going tomorrow, teep would be clear. If she's chaos I don't think he is. She easily could have lied about seering him.

So if sporty is village, I think wolf has to be DVMD, and I honestly have no clue who chaos is. If she's chaos, DVMD or teep. Maybe DVMD and teep, one chaos the other wolf.

But I think our best chance today is lynching sporty.

I agree on thinking MJ is ok. Based on the very few PMs he sent me. And because of that and based on what he's stated, I think you're likely village.

I sent a theory to Teep this morning, and he said he'll answer when he's out of his exam. But lynch DVMD until I hear his thoughts on it.

That's the other reason why I feel like it has to be sporty, I have similar reasons for thinking you're likely village.

Sporty I'm still reading village. Outting themself as the vig doesn't make sense if they'd been a wolf. There'd be no reason for a woolf to ever bring it up, unless it was a slip up. I don't think this would be the case here because they'd been a bit reserved in making comments, and it's not like it was an off the handle slip up.

if its not WZ then id lean towards DVMD

It's not me.

I did have the thought that we actually are at lylo if somehow there are two wolves left too. And if that is the case we need to be very careful about our votes because two wolves can swing it very easily if the village votes are spread out.

How do you reconcile the fact that sporty just happened to attack Mel on the night AM was redirected? I know it seems silly that she outted the fact that she had killed him. I haven't quite figured that out either. But something stinks there.

Honestly, i can't definitively say either, but it could have just been dumb luck. Or (and I'm leaning this way) mods may have been looking for more blood, knew that Mel/AM would be at risk and reminded sporty of the vig kill.
Yeah the circumstances are fishy, but I don't think I'm reading sporty wrong

I think you're stretching with that latter part...I don't think sporty ever mentioned the mods reminding her about it that night, and I'm not sure why you would think the mods would do something like that.

But in any case if you believe that then I urge you to think through your options a little more closely. If you believe sporty than you should believe that she seered me n1 and I was village. Unless you believe I was converted prior to snowy stealing my ability (I can go into the reasons why that wouldn't make sense if need be), you know what my ability was. I can't be responsible for the weirdness that's been going on :shrug:

Mods DID remind me of my cow the day that I used it.

I don't know if they did it on purpose or not, but they did remind me and I consequentially used it that night.

Sharing my theory/ies on thread now that I shared them with Teep. For sake of time, since I'm still not out of this stupid rotation, it's copied and pasted.

"OKAY. So I know you're village, unless you got converted after I seered you, but that seems unlikely.

I have a shower theory, and it could be crazy, but tell me if it is.

DVMD came back chaos. Maybe she did ask to be let back in, but KD let her in as chaos. We didn't have this weird redirection stuff earlier in the game, as far as I'm aware.

If that's the case, we're basically at lylo if there's also a wolf out there.

Or, she's chaos, all the wolves are dead (only 3?), and we just have to kill the chaos player because her win conditions are to kill everyone.

I don't think MJ is who we need, I know you aren't (unless you seer village, in which case, we were screwed a long time ago)... it has to be either Dubz or DVMD."

Frankly, if there truly are two anti-village left in the game, I'm doubtful one is MJ, so the last two have to be DVMD and you, Dubz.... because I know I'm village, and I know Teep's village.

As far as whether or not I was converted, you can talk to MJ and DVMD about that. I think they'll back me up when I say that there are reasons why it would be pretty damn unlikely that I'm the wolf. And the same holds true for DVMD. It's unlikely that it is MJ for different reasons.

It's fun that you and teep are so sure about each other though. Wonder why that might be.

Dude. Look at it from my perspective. You were sketchy as hell about this situation. I know I'm village and I have pretty good reasons to think neither MJ nor DVMD is a wolf. From where I'm standing you're either a wolf or you're chaos, either way you need to go and at that point I can try to figure out how which way you flip affects my feelings on teep.

One non-villager left:
Least likely scenario
Had to be someone who started the game with redirecting and lynch cancelling ability. Most likely options here would be one of the rezzes, unless a convert gained these abilities upon conversion. I think that's unlikely, but do with it what you will.

Two non-villagers left:
Two wolves - This would make it a wolf heavy game, but it is a possibility, so I'm including it. Could see it being sporty and teep right now. Teep seems especially too sure of sporty for it to just be based on his read. MJ is unlikely to be a wolf based on game design, so in this scenario he would be village. If he is, then DVMD is clear (not 100% mind you but...enough to not vote there). On the off chance he did come in wolf, it could be him and DVMD pulling one over on me, but I really think that's like...5% probability.

One wolf, one third party - I think this is the most likely situation. Basically anyone could be chaos at this point HOWEVER I don't think it's MJ - the whole point for him was that he was busy, I really don't think kaydubs would have given him a role that was anything other than village. I'm actually ok with all of this. MJ didn't message me until that night he posted about screwing up, we exchanged just a couple messages the following day when mods did allow PMing but based on what he said, I don't feel he's a wolf and further don't think you are. Unless you are both pulling one over on me but I find that unlikely and if you are, I'm actually fine losing to that.

I'm much more comfortable with my lynch vote now.

I know I'm village, I could see MJ/WZ pulling something over on me. Or you/teep or possibly just you. But I'm not seeing any other possibilities from where I'm sitting. And since you're jumping completely away from wolves, I'm much more comfortable lynching you.
