Hm I was thinking of voting sheltermed off vibes but on iso she did seem to be trying to figure stuff out more than most of us goons. So because he was around at EOD and sitting off of the tie

yeet Clem

Wait, why did you want him involved with the tie?

Didn't I make it a tie lol

Regarding absent wolf team, why should they care about a mayoral tie? That's a term really only used for if there's a wolf on the board and they fail to get saved with minimal activity or with flips confirming as such. Could you clarify what you mean in this context?
So i'm assuming wolves don't want to die in a mass execution, therefore they have a special interest in changing the tie to favor one of our co-mayors. but if they either 1) didn't know the tie was happening, or 2) didn't realize we could all die, then they would have let it stand. and those two things point to absent wolves. Or I suppose it could have been 3) frozen and crying in wolf chat.

But none of those things sound like my behavior at vote close, so you need to reevaluate your vote.

Which player(s) do you think match this behavior?

I think Sporty made it a tie?

Can you talk a little more about your multi vote stuff from last night? Clearly that wasn't a thing, and presumably you were kidding. I'm just wondering what the point was. I guess what's the point of any joking on d1, but because I'm not in on any jokes I kind of have to work with and around them to see which have meaning and which don't ..

Why are you stuck on that and simultaneously not stuck on genny's claim that she would be the only mayor regardless?

I mean it wasn't an inside joke, it was just a normal joke

I thought jt would be funny if every time I changed my vote I pretended it stacked and that maybe I'd get something from the mods for making them laugh but instead my vote was ignored and now I'm the mod, pretty raw deal if you ask me

what do you mean you're the mod? says who

Did you not see my tags for day start? Sorry I thought they worked

Is mass execution a thing for mayor vote ties these days? :oldman:

I mean they worked but all that came after the actual mod posted night results. still not seeing how you became the mod

I'm concerned that shelter's asking questions just to ask questions.

Did you read last game? I literally begged for feedback as to how I manage to always seem that way and I got ignored. I CANNOT improve without anyone telling me why I come off that way.

I didn't read super closely because I struggle to understand DnD.

What I'd like to hear is how these questions are helping you evaluate Clem.

I'm genuinely confused. How did you become mod? Are you just messing with me? Please just spell it out for me because if it's obvious I'm clearly not getting it
It's just a joke, not an inside one it's all in thread

Clem is saying he's now a mod. I don't understand how he's a mod. Why wouldn't I want to understand how that happened, and whether he is actually a mod? If a player became a mod, doesn't that change things about the game? I'm not just evaluating Clem as a player, I'm also trying to figure out how the game works.

If it's obvious as to how he's now a mod, or if it's obvious that he's kidding or messing with me, I don't see it. I have a thick skull (I guess). You've first hand seen me struggle with this stuff AM

Can you see Clem in your role PM?

Do you think the other mods will announce if a new mod steps on board?

Do you think Clem will be listed as a living player if he's a mod?

yeah like now that you say that stuff, it makes sense that he was joking. but I don't always think of that myself. it seems obvious now that you point it out. I'm really just not that bright, at least not in the moment. It may have occurred to me later today. like, you saw my ramblings as Algernon. my brain just takes a little longer. I'm the person who thinks of a good comeback a week later.

Okay. I just want to see some more progression in terms of questions and pressuring of people you believe may have wolfy motivations.

Because with the Clem thing, he can't assist you if he's a mod. And if he's a player, then it's a joke. Neither of which are AI or go any deeper for further solving.

Fair enough. Like I said, I'm also trying to figure out how the game works. I thought the Clem thing was plausible (because I'm an idiot) and I thought asking questions about it was valid. Along those lines, I went back and looked at genny's posts and recalled this one:

Not an inside joke. Clem says he has multiple votes. I think it’s just like my claim that I’m going to be mayor no matter what.
So, genny, if you can just confirm that your destiny to become mayor was indeed a joke for the dummies in the room, that would be appreciated.

My action didn't go through last night. FYI. For posterity. I don't feel like elaborating right now.

I do want to know why you "don't feel like" elaborating. Does that mean you think the elaboration wouldn't be helpful to us, or are you withholding the information out of "laziness" (or more likely, busy), or for some other reason? (I don't actually think you're lazy irl that's why I put it in quotes)

Where's the fluff?
In my opinion, everything regarding the mods "dying" and most things related to Clem, lol. I get that this has been touted as a game where the mechanics are wild, but I believe that underneath all this superfluous talk, the game remains the same as any other, wolves vs village, and the mods will guide us in this fight and not seppuku themselves.

Additionally, this size game may the new normal, but to my weathered goaty chin this is basically starting in the endgame; probably 2-3 wolves, convert coming in some form or another day 3-4.

Well, the mods dying was a mod official post and hasn't been discussed by anyone else since the night cycle as far as I've seen. So feels a bit delayed to worry about a "discussion" that ended 12+ hours ago.

Which things related to Clem specifically?

Nah, converts are disgusting. Even three wolves is fairly unlikely tbh.

My opinion is that the mod post was a flair for the dramatic, but, otherwise, essentially all the talk about multiple votes and becoming mod that I don't believe are truly relevant to the game. And then I went to go quote all the exhibit posts over the past 4-5 hours that all seem extraneous, and they all ended up being from one person, so...

Yeet sheltermed

Yes. Joke.

Not interested in sharing my information if wolves don’t already know it.

Ok nevermind. The only one who seemed unaware at vote close was Dubz because she was busy elsewhere.
Yeah, I wouldn't say she matches this model because she was the second person to actively discourage the tie (even before it officially existed so everyone has plenty of time to respond).

Any suspects outside of this theory?
