StardeWW Valley - GAME THREAD

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
I died N2, and then we proceeded to be buds for the rest of the game, watching you guys endlessly bring up her N1 reads list 🤣
Came in N3 and you two had several pages buddying it up already 😂 Peas in a tinfoil pod

I may have declared myself your unofficial dead manator

this is literally my first time playing as village (aside from that one speed game i played while the noob game was running where i was yeeted out D1) so while i know my post pinged some of yall this morning, please cut me just a little bit of slack.
I wasn't actually pinged.

"Wolfy Pop-In" is more of a joke, stemming from the notion that some wolves like to just pop into the thread to skate by but the idea of "popping in" is NAI and can be done by villagers, but it appears "wolfy" to "pop-in". The phrase "pop-in" specifically triggered it in my mind.

Yeah I'm just not sure D1 Dubz last game is enough to have a confident village read this game on her. She's crafty. Stay vigilant!

If all the newer players outside of your own nooblet have sketch points then I have a feeling you're experiencing some of the bias that contributes to the nooblets being easy misyeets.

No, true is sketch for his own reason, the other 3 are kind of collective because of all the prior game conversation and their weird comment made from stoaty to kds. And even you said Dana was triggering you. Its not based on noob status.

I don’t know if it’s coming straight into a game after wolfing which I’ve never done before but I’m just getting triggered left and right by pretty much everyone.
Except for you.
Which in turns triggers me because I’m always triggered by you
Day 1 man

Explain to me these reasons. Is it largely in-group banter and regarding True, the desire to not get eaten?

The 3 of you just seemed to be filling space with prior game talk. I guess its not necessarily wolfy considering thats the only game 2 of you had played, but just in general it rubbed me wrong, not considering noob status, as did the post I bolded.

Not True's desire to not get eaten, but the continual repetition of it. All D1 stuff, Im not married to yeeting any of you yet, but as you know, we gotta start somewhere.

I'm not saying you're consciously giving them sketch points because they're noobs, I'm saying "newness" bias and inherent noob sketchiness often leads to early misreads.

And yes I said Dana triggered me, but I have true village and kdswg and stoat are still neutral, so not the same thing. Not saying you can't have sketch points for noobs at all, just saying if all the noobs and only the noobs have sketch points then to me it seems like there might be some unintended bias.

But its also 15 something hours into the game (note i didnt say "start of the game or middle of the game, so we can skip that whole conversation), reads change every few minutes to hours.

I'm sorry but you of all people casting aspersions on folks for "filling up space" in the thread has me rolling 😂

I would caution against this kind of reasoning. It isn't based on facts or trends in the gameplay so much as reacting to "otherness," and can lead to false reads-- unless you are, for reasons of your own, attempting to create an atmosphere persuasive to village-on-village votes.

It does jive interestingly with your earlier trend of handing out lots of village reads. Seems a bit too obvious for a wolf, but it's an interesting contrast in how you are grouping players and the impulsive feel I get from it @cubsrule4e

So you dont think Ive posted any content? I guess only certain people are allowed to dominate the thread even with meaningless posts. Samac, looks like youre gonna win now 🙃
Okay, now you're starting to read a little weird to me. I was making a light joke, this is a very prickly response.

You're ahead in post count by a mile, a lot of it has just been normal conversation like the kind that you frowned at us for:
Ugh... haircuts are such a pain. Have we been over this? I think we've definitely been over this. On discord probably the last time I had to get one.

Im on a mission KD.

It's just odd. Really feels like you are dead-set on driving the conversation.

So @Truenamer Cubs seems wolfy to you? Is that the takeaway I should get from your post? Or are you raising an observation for others to read and interpret as they will?

Feels way too early to actively call people Wolfy, but right now I'm voting for Cubs and I'll see if I can find reasons to change that vote.

I realize this but seeing as I can't predict the future, I'm commenting on the information that is currently available to me 😉

I believe Zenge was the one that first pointed out their posts about re-living the prior game seemed odd.
Can you elaborate your thoughts pls?

Compared to bowwling or her noob game?

Like these for example. Feels much more direct, like “at” me as opposed to just giving her thoughts in a general sense. Hard to explain I guess. Definitely a more confident type of approach.

No pumpkin anything. 😡
Weird that you say that when your vulpix looks like it has a pumpkin tail and pumpkin pompadour!
Because the alternative would have been misyeeting them.

We were mechanically required to kill Dubz, Genny, and Fluff first, specifically misyeeting at least one.
That sounds like fun and difficult wincons
Thats what the old guy in the bowling alley loved every wednesday, he died this past saturday, ironically the day BoWWling ended 🙁

I had a bassett hound for 10 years name pokey. He tried to jump over a little garden rail and severed his spine and it was all downhill from there 🙁
Cubs sounds like he needs a welfare check
