StardeWW Valley - GAME THREAD

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Using the site was rough on mobile because every time I clicked on the notification it opened up a new tab. The app has been pretty decent for me.

During the noob game there was an ad popping up right where you change pages so it was impossible to go back and forth to different pages. But they fixed it by the start of BoWWling so its been working alright so far.

I think there should be several items at play last night, based on the fact that the store was cleared out. This is going to be a complicated write-up.

I didn't cry during my talk, so that's probably a good thing, but don't worry! There's still a chance later when I have to meet with the boss man and tell him how everything I'm trying to finish for this manuscript that we wanted to have published years ago ISN'T WORKING!

I've realized that I'll be a little sad when future games don't have a crafting/planting/building element. I love games in my games.

I spend most of my time in Fallout 4 making my settlements look really cool (and also bristle with turrets).

Preemptive "assume you planted the things you submitted planting unless told otherwise" because I'm rushing to get these done and leaving that out, but don't worry, your harvest totals will all be as they should at the appropriate time. The spreadsheet guarantees it.

Please join me after this game in asking, occasionally, "hey can we run Stardeww again in a few months?"

@zuriburi spends way too much time playing card games in RPGs whenever he can find them. Like he made Gerald in Witcher 3 a pub regular that plays Gwent every waking moment

We have seen a bit of a rise in WW minigames in recent times. Perhaps the trend of mods who like to make extra work for themselves will continue.

Yeah, the Witcher 3 game designers made a strange choice when they added a swordfighting RPG mini-game to their digital card game.

idk what you're talking about, I made no extra work and this spreadsheet isn't 15 tabs.

Bioshock had the circus of values but it's not like I summoned that from nowhere, there had been previous games with that kind of mechanic, just not for a little while.

Does the dead chat casino count?

Who knows.
smashes the vending machine in rage

Did Owwlympics start the trend?? :heckyeah:

Maybe, I don’t know. I can’t remember anything before it.

There's actually a really funny role reveal related to that. Mostly because it kind of comes out of nowhere.

Genny early game: “so is someone an owl?”
Zenge: “yes”
*everyone assumes he’s joking*

*later*
Sporty: “Dead is Zenge, an Owwl”

Night 4

"You can learn to survive in the wild. I have. I think we all have a hidden urge to return to nature. It's just a little scary to make the leap."

As time passed in Stardew Valley, the residents of the town were growing anxious. People kept leaving town, and while they were hoping to find the culprits within their midst, so far, it had proven very difficult. Pierre's general store was having a harder and harder time getting inventory, and what they did have was flying off the shelves. It's hard to compete with the bigger stores when you're still a mail order store. And the residents were getting spooked. Things felt pretty scary in their sleepy little town.

------------------------------------------

He didn't want to bother anyone, or be bothered. He lived a humble life, sleeping in his tent at night and living off the land during the day. Of course, he loved Stardew Valley and everything about it, but he was particularly drawn to nature. It just spoke to him - he felt more at home outdoors. There was no one in town better at finding edible wild plants.

He was shy, and it took some time to get to know him. Unfortunately, as paranoia grew, that lack of knowing him prompted a decision that couldn't be taken back.

He was distracted, thinking about the goings-on in town, trying to decide on the best course of action. It wasn't helping him to find what he was looking for that night - he only found a single spice berry. Dismayed, he headed back to his tent.

At least it was quick. He heard the whistle of something flying through the air, felt a sharp pain in his head, and everything went dark.

It is the final day of Summer.

My night action results show that I was robbed-- except I'd ALREADY spent all my money on seeds, so joke's on them, I have all my moneys! They are tied up in stocks and bonds.

This changes my poe back to panic mode. Also I haven't really tried considering that Dubz and Sporty might have been putting on theatre re: I'm not in a cult, I'd convert you!

Glossed past it at the time because things were already tense and I have a few people I'd convert to my cult asap if they were in a game with me (true, fluffy, probably shorty)

I'm trying to understand the logic of a wolf pack kill of Barkley, given the clear misyeet bait, and I'm coming up short.

I'm not saying this for any particular reason but let it be known that I love role pm options, this game is A+
