Hang tight y’all, I don’t think the first interviews were sent until early September last cycle. I didn’t even get an invite until ~December 8th and interviewed 1/17 and accepted 1/18, and there were still plenty of people interviewed and accepted after me even into the summer!

Awesome, thanks for the info!

Just got my supplemental but they said to wait to submit until DAT retake September 14th.

I just received an email about Midwestern-IL Fall open house for their graduate programs. Do they send this out to everyone that applied or could this be an indication that they might be interested in me? I might be looking too far into it haha.

August 26, 2019 10:57am EST. Its an open house invitation to see all of the "professional degree seeking programs" at Midwestern-IL. It's not a formal invite for an interview. I haven't received anything about an interview yet so i don't know what to think of it you know?

Are you from Illinois? Maybe they are emailing this to people who don’t live too far/within the state

Well I’m about to start D1 next week here and got the email so I wouldn’t read into it much haha

I didn't receive an email or letter about the open house :/ and I am a IL resident

Maybe they are appealing to the OOS students first? I’m sure they assume that they are one of your first picks, since you’re in the state!

I just got an invitation to interview today. Good luck to everyone

So I just checked my status on the MWU-IL portal and it says they need a "Committee Recommendation Letter". I already sent 3 science LORs, 1 dentist LOR through AADSAS and thought that would be enough and they would not need a Committee Letter. Am I wrong? Did everyone else submit a committee LOR?

I would call and ask them about it. I did not send in a committee recomendation letter and I recieved an interview last week, so i'm pretty sure a committee letter is not required. I sent in a letter from my science professor, letter from my research PI, and a letter from a dentist.

They emailed me saying my application is incomplete bc I need a committee letter. I had 3 people send in their recommend. So I am not sure why they need a committee letter.

Do they require a committee letter of your school is able to do one??? Not sure. My application is complete, and I had four individual letters sent in. My college doesn’t do committee letters.

I am not entirely sure what is wrong. It seems someone else also had this problem as well.

I didn't even get an email about it :/
Did you email/call them to ask about it yet?

My AADSAS application says none by Midswestern. However, I'm positive they received it because of the email they sent me after my secondary app for them. Does it say none on the AADSAS app for anyone else?
