Because some people may not be their top choice, but they aren’t horrible picks either. Also, I think they want diversity so they have to be strategic on who and when they send offers too.. don’t give up hope yet, those are only my thoughts though 🙂

Yeah I got that too... I figured it was a nice rejection email , but I guess you may be good enough for the program.
They have until the 19th to accept the offer from 2nd rounds, and I think the last interviews are the 29th. I’m assuming the next rounds will be in Feb. You should call and find out 🙂.

Yeah in October, I think they could tell I didn't really want to go there because they kept asking me about Houston and living close to Houston.

Is it not an accurate assessment for someone who has not been accepted? I'd ask that you'd be a little more respectful than to casually tell someone that they're "salty" considering how much stress this process puts on people.
Gotcha! There's still hope dude. Until you get that rejection email, we still have a slight chance for an interview. It's not over yet for this cycle. But you're right about preparing for reapplications though.
