U. Chicago vs. UVA

I'm choosing between U. Chicago and UVA. I know some may think this a weird choice, but if I could combine aspects of both, I'd have the ideal school. It is important to me to be a good environment with people who like to have fun and also to have solid academic training. Any thoughts?

Hi there. You may want to post this in the pre-allo forum for a few more answers in regard to these allopathic schools.

I didn't apply to either school so I can't answer what I think about them.

I did though pick my medical school based on where I felt most comfortable. It was all about weighing the options and seeing where I best fit in. Remember this is a large investment that YOU have to make. I had to realize that this choice was mine to make and I could ask people their recommendation all day long...when it came down to it. What is best for you is what matters.
