Hey all,
So i am currently stuck in a very fortunate dilemma and any input would be appreciated. I received a full 4 year scholarship at UCONN through thier hcop program. On the other hand i received a half scholarship at Brown so essentially id be paying about 20 thous more a year for brown pending tht living in my home state doesn't save me any money with living. While on the other hand uconn is free but the stipulations for the scholarships is to complete one of the following ; work for a year incommunity health center, devote 20% of time to a health professions shortage area for 5 years or finally be faculty at a medical school for 2 years. What school would you guys choose?

Brown. Don't tie yourself down with added strings if you don't have to. I say this as someone that would love to attend UCONN myself.

Id call brown and see if they could up their offer a bit maybe match it when other of their acceptances begin to pull out. Regardless of the outcome in the end though I would still float towards brown.

Agree with bofocion. See if you can get more money. Even still though, those stipulations are kind of heavy. This in addition to brown is in a, debatably, more desirable area and is a higher regarded school.

I would say Brown even if you do not get more money. The stipulations at UCONN, while do-able are limiting.
