Sure why not...I think Tucson accepted someone with a 20 last year...and you are above their 21 cut off. And if their average last year was a 29.3...then you can guess that quite a few people had less. Let us know tomorrow.

So, the minimum amount of acceptances tomorrow would be 110 (110 people to tucson, 48 of those already accepted to tucson, also accepted to Phoenix), maximum number of people accepted will be 158...but likely somewhere in the middle.

The rest of us will just be in limbo for another week and a half wanting to know if we were outright rejected or waitlisted...the humanity.

Maybe someone can call Tucson tomorrow at say, 10 am, and ask how many acceptances they sent out?

Hell I have a 3.35 and 31R and I'm terrified about tommorow 🙁 I really really want to get in.
 
I just remembered I had a dentist appointment tomorrow morning, at 8:45. That means I leave my house at 8:30 and can't get back until maybe 10 when I can check my email. Great, this is going to be the most nerve-racking moment of oral hygeine in my life! S***!!!!

I know it sucks! And I'm in New York so I have to wait until 10-11 New York time 🙁

Hey don't be like that.
At my interviews I was the only one with over a 30...but almost everyone beat me in the GPA dept..UofA likes altruism stuff supposedly.

But wouldn't you want to know if you weren't one of 110, or if you weren't one of 158?

It will make a difference for how many people are on the waitlist and what your number on the waitlist means.

Hopefully I can get the waitlist data when/if that time comes from the school...but really at this point, I just want to either be accepted straight up or rejected...I have a family to move and a house to buy (although maybe not in PHX or Tucson since housing is still overpriced..although coming down quickly) so I won't be doing one of those last minute come off the waitlist and show up to school the next day gigs.... 😉

Wow...what a drag to be in a different time zone than AZ...that means I have much more awake time today waiting for the email while the rest of you will likely be able to wake up (if you slept at all) and head straight to the computer.

Anyone want to put money whether or not they will send out the emails on time this morning? I am thinking for good effect...increasing anxiety, etc...it wouldn't be unthinkable that there is some technical problem that results in a delay (like their website being down yesterday) 🙂 I hope I am wrong.

I second that. At least acceptance emails don't come out next Mon when we spring ahead another hour.
 
if it makes you all feel any better, i'm waiting just as anxiously for word from UofA except that i'm currently in africa. it's 4pm here and 6am in arizona but i'm leaving work right now which means no more internet access until tomorrow morning...ARGH!!!

Congrats!!! Future pathologist in the house! No doubt..if you don't hear from Phoenix (but hopefully you do) your situation will warrant them accepting you as well (a one for one swap!).
 
I'm in too!!! Last name starts with "S" & I got the email today at 8:14AM... Tucson campus, which was my first choice!! 😀

I wish I could say it went kind of bad for me as well...but I can't even classify it like that since the guy didn't really speak much English and the interview took forever to answer only a handful of standard questions...sweet! That coupled with the really unenthusiastic tour guides made for a somewhat below average interview experience.

I wish I got someone who didn't speak English well. My interviewer at one point started laughing at one of my answers. I don't think I said anything funny... at least I wasn't trying too.

My last initial is P. There's still hope for me!
 
Yep Im empty too. If anything can make you feel worthless, its the med school application process
