Which school would you choose if you see yourself picking family medicine/general practice or internal medicine in the future, and you will be paying in state tuition for UMD and normal price for BU? And you like both Baltimore AND boston the same amount. Thank you so much for your opinions!

Both are good schools, but when I heard Boston University, I think of a kick ass school, pretty damn good. So if you are affluent and don't mind the extra money, go to Boston, otherwise, go to UMD.

I'd pick Maryland over BU, regardless of which specialty I intended to pursue.

Any time in-state tuition is an option, take it. I wish i had gotten into my home state's school, and I say that as I'm staring down a quarter million dollars in student debt. UMD is a great school and won't close any doors for you. But having a lot of debt might make you warier of going into a specialty that you love, but pays less.

I'd pick UMD. It's cheaper and closer to home. If you're planning to go into primary care, it doesn't really doesn't matter which of the 2 schools you go to. UMD and BU are comparable, so going to UMD over BU isn't going to close any doors for you.
