WildZoo's WWild ZZoo Part 2 - Game Thread

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
You were Villa leaning Lawpy, what happened to make you reeval?
I wouldn’t say anything happened. I was just re-evaluating in general.

I was actually wondering about a possible AM/Lawpy pack . But at the end of looking through that it seemed like Lawpy was compatible with a number of people and was fairly Wolfy for the reasons I talked about above, regardless.

That isn’t anywhere true what. I had my thought process in D1 and my votes and reasoning weren’t random nor unjustified.

And why are you expecting AM to have a complete decisive read on me on D1?
Oh this push back is not at all what I would have expected from village Lawpy. The tone shift is not subtle at all.

Nanook's votes and not sheeping me at EoD are a pretty bad look.

Santy moving the wagon from True is also not a good look.

Explain warmly.
You had a sharper more abrupt tone that doesn’t match what I’ve seen from you the rest of the game or any game. Even when you’ve been pushed as a villager.

It was like someone doing an accent and then reacting naturally to something and dropping the accent for a moment.

No the sharper tone has been there in past games when I’m defending. You can see Bowling, CYO 3 or many other games for comparison when I was in a bad spotlight over wagonomics or incorrect reads etc.

Also I much like Zenge today. And I am feeling his take on Lawpy.

@Santygrass Okay, I see your point on Nate. Willing to leave that be, at least for now.
I guess... I won't totally oppose a True yeet today, but it makes me sad. Skill issue

could mean that they softed
Speaking of softing though
Very amused. Normally I like lurking around.
Not really sure what my plan was with this. I just wanted to try it because it looked cool when Lumi did it and figured if anyone caught it, it wouldn’t be a big deal.

There’s a tendency for SDN regulars to place an undue focus on AM trying to read me as early as early D1 in any game we play together. I think this intensified after HZD from last year when people decided to ignore AM’s read to pursue my misyeet and realized they were horribly wrong. So since then, they’re using AM’s read very strongly to guide their own read on me

What I don’t understand is why is there an expectation of AM to get a solid grasp of me in D1

Probably because the assumption is a godread occurs pretty quickly.
But like, call me crazy, but I would think if Lawpy was a wolf here... AM would've caught it early? Iirc she caught him very shortly after he subbed into Okami (bit of a different situation there).
Is there another wolf!Lawpy w/ vill!AM game to reference? Plan to also go peek at BoWWling, CYO, LiterWWary since they were both vill there but want another (OG) wolf game to compare. I don't know if one exists though.

Updated with the flip:

Vote Spreadsheet

For your wagonomics pleasure. I'll probably just keep editing this post to update it (as long as I'm alive), so bookmark it for later.
- All the day's votes are listed in chronological order, and on the right side is a running vote count that shows what the vote count was after each vote.

Santy moving the wagon from True is also not a good look.
Elaborate more. Cause I think this argument is nonsense. Like, I feel you are doing a read in a vaccuum here

I don't see why you shifted from True to Fluff? I was trying to build the wagon and you left in the middle of it. I'm not certain why that was the case,

Because he townread me and was sheeping all of Santy votes but didn't sheep me when it came down to it. The vote on Nate is just not good.
He didnt sheep me voting on you. This argument doesnt stand up either

There were less than 10 minutes, there were slots that already claimed not moving to True. My priority was to shield my townread, and I made thay clear. You are only looking at my vote shift in a vaccuum.

Considering that Genny was following your vote, I felt like there was plenty of time and a good chance. There was someone I asked to vote true and they wouldn't because I was the only one voting there. Had you stayed on, I think there was a good chance of it going through.

It makes me so sad, RIP.
Like I can't confidently say anything about his aff but I hate voting Truenamer. 😔 Unless I'm very confident he's wolfing.

Who are you wolf reading, Lawper?

I was on True some good minutes and genny didnt switch. Like wowee look at the votecount at the end genny didnt even switch to True. And True could selfpres into Nate.
It was much more likely to Nate to get yeeted if I stayed, if you disagree with that you are fuming

I just wanted to see where this went tbh.

Villagers: Khepri, Fluff, AM
Town: MKG, PSV, Nate
Tinfoil scumteam but otherwise Town: Santygrass, Clem

PoE: Zenge, Genny, True, Lawpy

I think if Lawpy is scum, Zenge is town.
I think if Zenge is scum, Lawpy is town.
I think if Zenge is scum, True is scum.
I don't think Genny and True are unpaired even though Genny called out True day 1.

I think if we just yeet between those four we can solve the game. I like Zenge a lot today so I'd like to go one of the other three.

What is your rationale for putting me in your POE?

I think Zenge's insight may be correct.

Villas are confirmed.
His insights are based on an expectation that AM would have a strong grasp of me in D1 and that my solving attempts are basically randomly throwing sus to see what sticks. Already discussed the problems with the former, and the latter is what I argued was unsubstantiated. My takes were nuanced and I explained my thought process at length so it’s not like it’s random or unjustified.

Quick references from Bowling

My tone was pretty sharp when questioned by puppy here

Additionally quick notes from D2:

Speaking of questioning people, I'm curious if you have an opinion on Lawpy, since a couple of us have been squinting at him.

He's in my upper neutrals right now.
Yes AM mentioned upper neutrals but it’s still a neutral read in D2.

My point is expecting AM to have a solid grasp of me in D1 is unrealistic, and viewing a neutral read on me as indicative of my being sketchy is unjustified. As you can see, it’s a gradual process but when AM’s right, she’s right. You can see on the reverse side of the situation in Okami when AM started off as neutral and decreased to slightly wolfy.
