Just got home. Sorry for being MIA most of the day -- was surprisingly busy despite only one incoming case.

(Off topic... but I saw the 2016'ers getting their tours through the hospital this afternoon. It was kind of weird, and it's really weird that classes are starting on Monday. You have no idea how happy I am that my lecture days are over! I think the only thing that would make me happier right now is if I was still in my zoo rotation 😍)

Unsure what to do about last night's strange deaths, the town is on edge. No solid information, many just guessing and throwing accusations with little or no weight. SOV, feeling noble today even tells the crowd "I'd rather face the noose myself than start a lynch on an innocent! But please, don't take that as me volunteering! "

Soon, the votes begin to add up, and trematode is in the lead "please don't lynch me! something BAD will happen if you do!" she pleads. But this falls on deaf ears, the crowd has decided she's lying, bluffing even. Odd that someone speculates she may take another player with her to the grave. Are all the roles linked? Is the mod THAT evil? In the end they decide they can't risk it though, and the mob moves closer and closer to another player. They grab their rifles, and a six pack (each) of PBR and head out to the little hamlet of Hot Shot. Who knows what FFM was doing out there anyway, he'd rather be safe at home on the Stackhouse Farm.

"Please," he pleads, "I'm just an old woman who's trying her best to live in the light of god!" She begins to recite Matthew 6:34 to herself, knowing that this evil is not of her making. Eventually, FFM gives in to the will of the crowd and lets them take him to the clearing, where a gallows has been set.

The mob chants, the noose tightens, the floor drops.

You have killed FFM, Adele Stackhouse. Off in the distance, a strange gate in the garden of Adele's home glows brightly, then darkens, useless. The Cluviel Dor, resurrection gate through which one player could return to the game was powered by the love of the fae for Adele. It is closed forever.
