I was interested in how you would respond. Your answer to LIS is very similar to how you reasoned doing your 20 questions in Lion King and that was when you were trying to taunt us into lynching you. I can understand being cautious but having answers drawn out of you is not making me feel good about it. You could have just made a post about your role instead of the 20 questions
 
The only thing holding me back from thinking AM is suspicious is that trilt randomly picked her to be the gatekeeper. She had to have been a very unlucky pick to pick an unseerable wolf, and a seerable wolf would have half ***ed going for it or backed off completely.

So sheltermed vs. wildzoo, I am more inclined towards Dubz but curious what each has to say

I guess it's just me, but I still don't understand why one of the wolves MUST be an original Descartes member who moved to Hatari. I've still been avoiding figuring in the movements in my thought process for this game, which is probably to my demise. Either way--I haven't been sure how to read WZ and there's no way I'm a wolf, especially on my first game, so I think the original Descartes member logic might be flawed in some way.

You can be a wolf in your first game. Everyone's affiliation is RNG'd.

It's pretty simple. Two people died from Descartes night 1. One of those can be explained by LOTF's kill. The other was a wolf kill. So either the wolves decided to gamble on someone moving onto their planet that night, and risk losing a kill, or someone from Descartes is a wolf.

This whole post of yours just raises all kinds of red flags. Wolves are random, so yes, you can be a wolf for your first game.
 
Also, I haven't seen WZ around today, which makes me think she's laying low. I've been all up in this thread (at least, to the best of my ability, given that I don't really think too much of what I say is going to be taken seriously), which, to my understanding, posting a bunch is uncharacteristic of a wolf?

If it were that simple, we'd just keep all the talkative players and lynch the quiet ones, village win every time.

Well, day started an hour ago, so saying she's laying low is a bit excessive. Wolves can be quiet or loud. It's the content in their posts that matter.

Ironically enough, knowing how it works now, it was actually possibly less of a gamble to have someone from Hatari do it?

Some wolves go to ground, some wolves just talk more and try and smoke grenade the thread. *shrug*

Seems to me that we have two things we really need to get untangled, and we should just get to task on it. The first is the whole "first night" thing which, as I understand it, is between Shelter and WZ. Personally, of the two, I'd <probably> lean toward lynching WZ first, but it's pretty close to a toss-up.

And second, a lot of smoke around AM. Seems like it might be time to break that egg.

I would like a whole lot more consideration given to @amgoose319 as a possible wolf on iso. Has barely posted, and what has been posted is .... basically nothing. Also kinda did some mild hand-waving around misreading AM, which could signal both AM and Goose are wolves.

MJ and Nyanko are basically ghosting this game, which is typical for both of them (Nyanko classically, MJ recently). Makes them unreadable one way or the other, so they need to be lynched. Unfortunately, we're kinda out of time for "pre-cautionary" lynching, so if one of them is a wolf, we're probably screwed. FFM is ghosting, too, which is typical for him, but he's at least posted a couple more times and the content has passed muster.

I didn't like the way SOV said it, but he's right about the village getting slaughtered.
 
lynch WZ - mostly a placeholder vote.

I can comfortably lynch any of the people on my 'leaning wolf' list....

I imagine there are 4 wolves.

I agree with SOV about buying the upgrade ability. He mentioned a double wolf kill ... I was actually more worried about them buying it to turn 1 conversion into 2 conversions. But either way would be bad news. Someone should buy it.

I voted for AM initially then switched to STL because I thought better about him being village and he was putting in good lore effort.

Sorry haven't been posting much, visiting family at home this weekend for the fourth so in and out of checking in on the game. Trying to keep up on reading, but having time to post is a bit harder.

So far my only strong read was from lotf, which I was an early vote for the day before and the fay she was lyched. I'm not convinced on the whole WZ thing because from the little games I have followed she has come out swinging when attacked as villager. Did some rereading in the car looking for more reads, nothing definitive really sticks out.

Agree that AM is being sort of around the bush.

Would like to hear more from ny other than small comments here and there.

Still unsure if sheltermed is just noob or a wolf ploy. I'm still a noob too and definitely don't post nearly as much.

Feeling okay about genny so far.

If there is anything specific you are looking on my opinion about throw it out there.

Also, why do you have FFM leaning village? I feel like he's posted no more than MJ, so curious on how you developed this conclusion.

As DVMD was saying before she got killed, I think we should start looking elsewhere for wolves besides the original Descartes. Lupin keeps hinting that there are exceptions to the actions on planets residing on. Still unsure of sheltermed, but I feel like if we stay with this path we will be missing a lot of other opportunities to get wolves.

So really, nothing that you want to commit to? You agree with what people say about AM (ok, that's easy to do). You want to hear more from nyanko (won't happen). You're "still unsure" about sheltermed (ok, well, I'm unsure about everyone until after they die or are lynched). And you're "not convinced" on the WZ thing (ditto - won't be convinced until she's dead).

Not a terribly impressive post. 1/3rd spent apologizing for not posting much, which doesn't do anything. A bit talking about LoTF, which is old and unimportant news at this point, and the rest of it making ambiguous, non-committal comments.

Definitely nothing in there to move you closer to villager..... and it really reeks that you're basically absent until suddenly I ding you and suggest you might be wolfy, and then you show up with a mediocre post containing no firm thoughts and pulling the classic "is there anything you want me to answer" wolf question.

By "not convinced" I mean I won't be voting for WZ because I think she is villager.

Sheltermed I can go either way. Not sure if noob or wolf yet.

I told you why I switched my election vote from AM to STL.

And yes I am busy. Had a quick break to check in and post.

I will be able to check in closer to lynch close.

Only considering original Descartes members. So you and WZ. Not a fan of you but I don't think we will get anywhere if we only stick to this philosophy for lynches. Also think it's interesting that this is what DVMD was saying and now she was a wolf kill. I think it may be related.

i think that's captain obvious territory. there are going to be OTHER wolves as well, but there almost has to have been someone who started on descartes since both night 1 deaths were there

I haven't felt confident about a lot of Hatari dwellers. Despite LIS's opinion, I haven't gotten the same village vibe from FFM. Haven't had anything on Jilary to think of as being village.

I think I have more village reads from those on Cthulu like genny and kara (and STL, now I see he moved there).

I agree that being stuck on the original Descartes members isn't the only direction we should be going in. That's what I was trying to say earlier.
