Which didn't help genny... I doubt allie would repeat a similar reaction if she were the last original. I'd expected more fighting because she's the last. Allie just feels like her usual self when she gets lynched as a villager. I think it was after the YK vote when allie had gotten all defensive which made me think she was village because she often gets lynched early on over a dumb thing she said. Idk. Lynch her to get info, but I don't think she's wolfy.
 
I did just get some night results; allie was successfully jailed but it also said she wasn't doing anything and had no drugs in her possession

(However, that is the same result I got for genny, so I guess take with a grain of salt? But I would have assumed she would be planning to do something if she was the last wolf, either killing or offering conversion).

Makes no difference to me when I go looking for wolves. A wolf is a wolf.

I mean, sometimes it makes sense to me to pontificate about how many wolves there are when you're trying to analyze wolfpack behavior and sort out wolf-wolf interactions, but otherwise, it doesn't really frakking matter. There's wolves until we kill the last one and the game is over.

I know it seems like I'm all for convert hunting, but the reality is this,
-you have to come up with top wolf candidates from analysis, analyze them, and vote them
-rinse and repeat
-you have to have some people on village lean or the paranoia is too great to function, you have to consider some theories and info as coming from villagers or get nowhere in a twisty wash cycle of circular paranoia where I live.

That said, you also have to continually reconsider the people on the "likely village" list. Anything weird happens, like a rez, or with LIS, you have to put them on the watch list. They don't get to be on the trusted villager list. I know that seems like convert hunting, but it's not.

I don't care if someone is an original wolf, I don't care if someone was an innocent child, I don't care if there is a lack of mod or game clues pointing to conversion. Conversion can always happen, and a wolf is a wolf, and we hunt them until they're dead.

I'm still catching up and responding to posts, but this is an interesting perspective from Cray and seems to warn against trusting players too much because of the conversion threat.

I just find this to be in sharp contrast to other players' arguments who simply want to go after the original wolves.

Yeah, don't have an explanation for that one.

I was leaning towards protection for that maybe? iirc LIS was missing then (... right? My timeline might have been off on that) and Weim had results that sounded kind of like protection.

Had a reason for thinking it was protection, but that same reason is part of my most tinfoily tin foil hat theory

But then genny wouldn't have been too mad at you because the wolves still got their kill in the night you jailed her. She didn't have a special ability right?

It didn't look like it. And yeah, I was confused about the grumpiness lol

They could have had a one-time double kill on N2 or some such that they were going to have her execute, could have had an item she wanted to use, etc.

Cray was at the top of my suspect list after yesterday which was why I chose them originally. And then after I saw all those
posts this morning I was literally so overwhelmed/slightly annoyed/also slightly afraid that even by opening a convo with them they would freak out and think that was wolfy of me that I was like... I don’t have the mental capacity to deal with all that all day

Could you not have changed to someone else?

PMing is valuable in a game like this where there are some complicated behind-the-scenes mechanics that people may not want to share with everyone on the thread. Not sure why you would opt out of that

It could be that she was notified that she was jailed and Allie was supposed to be notified of the same. If mods forgot to give you your night results it’s not that much of a stretch to think they forgot to tell Allie she was jailed.

I don’t think I could have because I informed the mods who I chose. Idk I also didn’t really think to ask them.

I agree it’s a valuable tool that can be used but honestly I’m pretty bad at it and after all the fairly nonsensical things that they posted today I honestly didn’t think I’d be able to come to much of a conclusion about them via PM either. But the convo isn’t closed yet so who knows I may open one.

This is a good question, and I was about to ask the same. I'm trying to keep track of these updates while I'm responding to specific posts, since something seems off.

Oh genny was definitely notified, she said as much the morning after and tried to get me to confirm it on the thread.

But I think Snowy's point is that my jailing didn't stop genny from doing anything. Which is true afaik.
Didn't lynch her based on the block; lynched her the old fashioned way -- based on her posts & vote pattern.
 
Dudes, I don't know them *that* well, but what are the chances that Pippy and WZ get offered something dark dangerous mysterious possibly drug related, and turn it down?

Also, this is another big discrepancy or slip up from Pippy, regarding the nights, dudes. I'd have to comb back to see.

I thought Pippy and WZ were the dudes who love conversion and wolfing?? Did one convert the other, which is why they were able to back each other up with the "failed conversion" stories, dudes? Or why would they share it, dudes? Maybe this means they're villager, dudes?

I have more questions than answers dudes, I'm not trying to "wish wash" on them, dudes.

My major tin foil hat theories before we head into night cycle:

1) LIS knew I was a jailer because he said he tracked me on N2 using the LSD. He had reason to track me because the day before, I had told him I was not a vanillager. However, I believe he was "chemically restrained" the first night there was no kill. And that tracking could be how genny knew I jailed her. Basically, could have been a major slip up on her part.

So, yeah - he has been at the forefront of both wolf lynches and it would be ridiculously complex and scheme-y for how he typically wolfs....but there is a minute chance the write ups are actually major hints and he is an alpha or something.

2) This one involves dubz and would mean she fabricated a ton of **** when she PMed me, and has been continually BSing people on the thread.


Not saying either of these are even remotely likely, but since everyone has been on cray's case today about being cray, I feel like making sure she knows she is not alone.

But I have no plans at this time to vote for either one of these people.

Of course, major egg on my face if she's wolf, but right or wrong I'm not sure I'm long for this world, dude

There is literally like a 0.001% chance you get night killed soon if you are a villager. If I was a wolf there is no way I would remove you from the game at this point. No offense intended.

I don't use spreadsheets either. And I qualify things when I am not sure on the timeline so that people know to go back and double check me.

Because if I'm right on Allie, you say it's possible WZ or LIS in a weird universe, when I flip village, people might take my reads more seriously, dude. And yours, if they lynch you too, dude. dudes, the human brain is really interesting in the way it colors info, selectively emphasizing or de-emphasizing various details on a subconscious level... you don't want to inhibit that process too much, or in my case, let it get too wild

I'd like to keep track of hard data, at least, dudes. When shyte happens kills me dudes

I play on Safari on my iPad but on my phone I just click on the app cause its fast but it screwed me over like 2 in WWinter, and caused me to only like posts this game until I got home which was obviously too late 😛
