So I'm just getting off work and should be able to get back on in about 45 minutes. I just got caught up on thread and will get back on once home.

Lynch Snowy

I am okay with both a KC and Snowy lynch, but I have stronger village reads on Snowy right now. I'm not thrilled about AM being the lead on that lynch, but I after Glam flipping wolf I'm feeling better about AM for now.

Also, you're all welcome for the Glam kill. It sucks she flipped wolf, but I didn't want us wasting another day and another NK trying to figure that situation out.

My cat spay tomorrow who is probably pregnant is sketching me out.

Sorry, in all seriousness I haven't been able to catch up on thread all day today and I won't be around at all tomorrow. I have requested a sub for the first time ever. I'm so sorry guys I feel awful but I did not expect this game to go as it has

Well I can reveal, but after cray has been adamant that my role is villager, I doubt it's going to convince you guys that I'm a wolf.

I am finny. I can shut down PMs twice during this game. This includes the villager pm.

And I told this (except my role name) to genny who was my pm partner before rn and she still thinks I'm sketch obvs. Now my pm partner is kc. Isn't that funny how we are the tied for a kill. Not much use to pming if no one trusts either of us. And we don't trust each other.

Because I thought the weim kill was last minute and the villagers wouldn't have been suspecting it, so it might hurt them not to be able to talk to each other for the day to figure out another strategy. Pretty much the only use I know of that my ability could be useful for. Also to prove my ability to genny (tell her before I use it, that I'd be using my ability). I didn't really think it seemed like a village ability (like not pming for one day doesn't really seem like it would hurt the wolves) and I had her as village leaning after the weim kill, so I thought it would make her trust me as a wolf. But didn't work that way. :shrug:

Ughhh my brain is confused. I don’t nexessarily think PM canceling is a bad guy ability. Grrrrrr.

On the one hand, shutting down PMs absolutely would disrupt wolves. On the other hand, the reasoning for using it seems ok, plus I don't really like PMing anyway. On the other other hand, if it shuts down all PMs it sounds like it could go either way, so I'm back where I started. 🙄

Reading this exchange was painful because it was obvious EVEN TO ME that there was probably a reason allie was still being obscure and based on how delayed results come back it seemed likely she hadn't gotten hers yet. This fishing from Pip and not "getting it" feels bad man.

I seriously don't have the energy for this today (which was literally my first post of the day so good job villagers for picking an easy target) BUT we'll see because if my MO isn't to go down fighting with everything I've got then I don't know what it is.

Literally no one except jboo has pointed out anything specific from me that has given them a reason to vote for me. And jboo's reason was rebuttled and never again referred to so IDK what you all are on about.

I will reveal my role and ability right now but it's NAI so it will do me zero good:

I am Bottle of Bear and my only ability is to add random **** to the write ups. I've added random actual Bear quotes (Chernobyl, the Asian man, etc). That's it. So I guess you lose nothing but a wolf number by killing me.

Also I would like to point out the irony of me asking at the beginning of these sign ups to be wolf killed as opposed to lynched when I disappear for my (hopefully soon) labor. This was obviously before I realized that we were playing in topsy turvy reverse roles land. 🙄

I have said multiple times that I often vote strictly on feels, and it is a large part of why I'm voting for you. There was a game we wolfed together where most of the pack died early in the game, and you took it home for a wolf win. Your play this game is reminding me of that game.

I'm also not sure how I feel about your tinfoil hat question. I mean, I think the write up was pretty clear that there was a conversion. People questioned why it would happen so early, but I don't think anyone really questioned that it did happen.

P.S. Insulting individuals or groups of people because they are voting for you, typically won't get me to change my vote. It just makes me did my heels in more.

I agree that it has a slim chance of working, but it's exactly the kind of thing I could see dubz doing. It gives wolves a chance to find those unseerable villagers, but keeps the risk low enough that it doesn't eliminate the use of having unseerables in the first place.

This would mean there is still an unseerable wolf left. Because having an illusion remover would only make sense if there is at least two illusions. So weim was untrackable... someone else is unseerable?

to be clear I am NOT adamant about almost any ability having one affiliation or the other.... there are "trends" or "what makes sense" and of course you can always speculate what the usage of any ability is in the hands of any affiliation

PM cancel is often villagery for the reasons I stated but I even put out there a clear example of when someone was going exactly what Snowy is claiming now (good guy trying to mess with bad guy chat)

so what I'm not loving is not that Snowy has this ability, but the oversell that I'm somehow overselling "how bad it looks" to have it

abilities are not inherently sketch, the way they are used and talked about matters, that is what I have always said, so really what is sketch is what else has been said on this matter by Snowy

I had a different theory that involves one of the villagers being able to change someone's steering or tracking results. But either way I don't know why that would be combined with an untrackable villager.

I agree that it has a slim chance of working, but it's exactly the kind of thing I could see dubz doing. It gives wolves a chance to find those unseerable villagers, but keeps the risk low enough that it doesn't eliminate the use of having unseerables in the first place.

Eh to me, it sounded like you were telling people it was bad. But maybe thats because I have the ability and you stated it is a village ability more then once.

I was comparing the differences between PM cancel and PM mash up abilities, their usages, and how they are traditionally regarded, mostly as a function of what they tend to achieve in a game, but none of what I said was black and white
 
I don't want to create a tie, and I don't know that I even want to save KC, as much as I want to be sure that Snowy is cracked

Note that I wasn't keen to go after Glamm with her sketch af everything, because I listed clearly that I do consider a lot more than just ability and its traditional affiliation associations
 
Glamm came off wolf to me not taking that ability into account :shrug:

Snowy isn't coming off bad to me for her ability, it's the way she's talked about it now, what she's saying I said wasn't what I said by a long shot

As I said, maybe it's because I have the ability I took it the wrong way. Here I was thinking it was an obvious wolf ability and then you mentioned it multiple days as usually village so I felt like everyone would read your posts and agree. So I just figured whenever I had to out myself that there would be the bias here towards it's a bad ability.
