They are always non-existent roles in the game. If someone can counterclaim, it wasn't a good "cover", let alone any "cover".

Sometimes.

But this is a small game and roles were already nerfed, and Alissa said in the signups that she was attached to the roles. Ask yourself if major family member characters would get used as burner roles in that situation.

We also literally just had one of the family members flip as the actual role last night.

But again, yeet me at your own risk. The wolves will know it's true.

I assumed that pippy was going to pick up on me being tracker as I went at her because it’s a god damn good reason to sus someone. When she said she thought the post restriction was village and the tracker was wolfy that felt like she was going to set the tracker up for a misyeet. So I went harder.

Hmmm. Don't think this overall changes my village read on samac or village lean on pip. I'm not super comfy with the immediate shutdown of the possibility of cover roles in a game where wolf roles would probably be super obvious, but don't know these mods well enough to get into mod meta.

I agree that the open PR hunting on thread isn't helpful for village but I still think this is one of those things where Samac is just a very enthusiastic curious villager who isn't thinking about how what she does could help wolves.
