Also, we don't really know what this does. Good or bad?

So I considered, who are players that I think something good is in good hands, vs if they die, they die?

Essentially, I'm OK with flipping the coin on them D1, come what may.

Brutal but there it is. I don't hope it kills them, and I'll play a sad song +pity+
but I am hoping this will be a good thing.

Voting for one's self is sketch to me. Sure, if you're villager, you obviously know it and trust yourself.

I was just reading about villager hesitation vs wolf caution. Not sure what I make of this willingness to risk-take vs a desire for power.

I'm speculating that tenderizing will have different effects depending upon what meat the person happens to be. A flank steak might do well to be tenderized, while bacon, well, not so much.

Hey, I gave a reason. You know I'm quick to say you're sketch but I'm also quick to defend you for being quiet or if I think you're making good points and being villagery. No, I don't like to vote you for village meta of quiet.

I've called out more than you for what I see as D1 weirdness.

Finn didn't give a reason. Those voting Kara, I'd like to see why.

If someone really is wanting to live, not sure why they'd volunteer for this not knowing if they'll live. Unless they're the risk taker sort, and aren't playing as conservatively. Not a conservative move in my opinion.

You pointed out dds but was this in general, meaning you also find my vote sketch?

My conservative play has gone out the window lately as I’ve realized I’m likely to die early most games. Would rather go big, takes risks, have fun, and if I live longer all the better

I said that about dds because that stood out to me, and it took me a minute to realize you had also voted yourself, and finn, allie.

I agree what I said for dds also applies here, and I also find capri, finn, and allie's reasons/lack of reasons eyebrow raising.

My reason is simply Karabou wants it and I like her the most out of the other candidates. Sue me. 😛
Cray I'm sorry but I really think you're making a way bigger deal out of all of this than there needs to be. I've never seen the first 3 hours of a (possible) mayor vote be taken so seriously.

…yes. Yes it is a joke. From the explanations I got it seemed like this kind of possible-mayor vote is kind of a crapshoot, even more so than regular D1 lynch votes.

I mean if it bothers you that much I’ll switch, but then I either need better reasoning (not likely until we find out what tenderizing does, which won’t be until after voting closes) or it’ll be another joke vote. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Because I didn't want to vote for Mel or MJ and they were the other people who appeared to have votes on my scan through.

I'm running with the assumption that this is most likely a mayor type vote. Not certainly, but still most likely.

I've got to agree with Allie. I think you're making a big deal out of nothing here.
 
Here I was thinking that voting for a mystery or potential position of power might be more interesting and illuminating than just the RVS of most D1 lynch voting. Perhaps that was part of the point of the mod doing this, because it might have potential to be more stimulating, a mystery vote vs a random death vote.

Since this does feel different in tone than the RVS type days, not sure why it's "making a big deal" just to ask why people are doing what they are doing.

Kara's response was good and some others were good, and I don't see defensiveness there. Not sure why I'm seeing it in others.

Asking "why" in WW is pretty common and doesn't have to be some big bad thing.

Unless that's what you want to make it out to be.
 
I don't have issues with your reasons. I do take issue with why it's such a bother for someone to ask you why.

Especially on a vote that I think we can think about and justify more than a RVS lynch vote day.

I gave what I thought were thought out reasons, as did Kara. NBD there.

It's not that you asked why. I don't care that you asked why. It's that you asked why three times over the span of a few minutes and suggested our votes were somehow suspicious.
 
Most votes so far have been for vet players, which does make sense considering you guys have experience.

However, since we're not entirely sure it's a mayor vote, I'm going to vote for a fellow noob. And if it is a mayor-esque role, what better way to learn!

Actually, I didn't. I had reasons that your names came up in my posts, but I didn't ask 3 times. I'll quote everything I had to say on you guys to prove it if you like.

I suggested that Allie said something that raised my eyebrow that had nothing to do with her vote.

I suggested that any time I don't see reasoning I don't like it.

I found dds and Kara voting themselves as eyebrow raising, and I wanted to know why people fell into place on that.
 
I'm just asking questions, and the only ones making a big deal are making a big deal about that.

If people can just calmly give their reasoning, great.

But I don't respond well to bullying or people actually being the ones to make a big deal about what shouldn't be a big deal - being asked their thoughts.

I'm not going to apologize for that or stand down from it.

I'm just making a guess based on how I'd mod. What does tenderizing do? It makes lackluster meat better, but will ruin certain meat or have no effect. So it's probably like one of those mayor votes where there's a few people that might get extra powers if they become mayor due to their role.

wow I'm a space case. I voted for Mel not MJ. I just untenderized someone I wasn't even voting for. Sorry guys, I'm tired and don't feel great. I got confused since I voted Mel with MJ and AM on my list for stated reasons.

Like what MJ is doing, I see no reason not to put lots of thought and analysis into this. VMH already said there would be plenty of interesting mechanics at work.

I get it if people aren't into that D1, not sure why you gotta piss on other people's fun speculating.

Wolves might have interesting thoughts on this and might move in interesting ways. I don't know what that is, but with something on the line other than a RVS random ass lynch, I'm curious what we might glean.

Tenderize Mel

After being lynched D1 in the past two games, I deserve something good in my life. And I'm finally done with exams so I'll be able to pay closer attention to this game than the last one.
