I was verified June 24th, still not receive the secondary, anyone one there the same?:scared:

verified 7/1 ... still no secondary. i've received one from the vast majority of my other schools...weird.

did anyone's update for payment and secondary on the status page take longer than a day.....i'm working on 2 1/2 (although it is Saturday now so I don't know)....also was there any e-mail confirmation when you submitted bc I definitely didn't get one
 
Is anyone else applying to the MD/MPH program? Can you tell if there is any word limit for the essays? It doesn't look like there are...but I don't want to be all ready to submit and then find out I'm only allowed 1000 characters 🙄

I noticed that with some secondaries that if I hit the Enter key on the keyboard to log-in rather than clicking the Submit button that it wouldn't work. (Can't remember off the top of my head if Drexel was one of them.)

I put community college in there too. Not sure if that's correct... I was going by the info that they'll receive from AMCAS.
 
I think they might screen? It says they received my information July 29th, but I got the secondary today. I don't know. Just a guess...

I think they probably just have a relatively unstable server for their online application system. I know at VCU our servers would crash nearly every time during freshman/sophomore registration. Perhaps they're trying to minimize potential damage to their hardware.

Just a theory.

lol... I'm an idiot. I used the forgot my password thing to log in, then saw the create an application thing and used that to make one, didn't see where it said

Whoops, looks like I opened an application to be a graduate student in biomedical studies. Ah well, hopefully it won't come up as long as I don't fill it out...

yeah, they take them. once you log onto your secondary application, one of the first questions is, "how are you paying for this app?"

option three is "i have been verified for the AMCAS fee waiver."

i haven't seen a single school that hasn't taken a fee waiver, which if they didn't would be really dick. in the MSAR book, it says that NYMC doesn't take fee waivers, but they actually do. and i know another school is like that also, but im drawing a blank.

I submitted thursday: 8/07/08 and today (08/11/08) they got my payment for the application and noted it on the application summary. I did receive a verification email for credit card payment on the 8/7 right after submitting payment. But they haven't got LOR yet which went through Interfolio on the 7th.
 
Still no secondary for me. I submitted my primary to them on July 8th. When did everyone else send in their primary?
 
I was verified June 9 and still nothing. I might call today and see if I should just fill it out anyway.
 
how do you actually submit an application through that link...the only option is biomedical sciences, and then after that "Md/Phd" no "MD" application.
 
not sure how Drexel is doing things. some of my friends were verified weeks after me but they've received the secondary and I have yet to hear anything. no worries, everyone!
 
Not sure if anyone else had a problem, but if you're planning on paying online and are using ZoneAlarm, make sure to disable it temporarily or maybe lower the security settings. I don't think you can pay online otherwise or at least it was the case for me.

University of Maryland does not accept them.

I also believe that Howard does not either (not sure about this one though).
 
I put externship experiences and a ride along on an ambulance as "other" on my AMCAS, so on their secondary should I put it under "medically related volunteer activities" or under "extracurricular, other volunteer, or community service activities?"

Yeah, i was verified back in the day... Still waiting on a secondary. Do they screen?
 
I can't believe I am receiving loyola before Drexel. Not only did loyola begin their invites later than drexel but also with pre-screen...and still faster than drexel 😕
