Hey guys.
I'm glad someone brought up the topic of "Additional Correspondence"".
I interviewed on October 2 and was accepted on October 24. Naturally, i sent in my intent letter and deposit as fast as humanly possible. And then today, one month later, I suddenly notice this Additional Correspondence on my status screen. I thought that I had done something wrong with regards to accepting the admission offer [the excitement and stress of going to medical school can make a person paranoid sometimes]. I'm glad to hear that I am not the only one getting this "Additional Correspondence" thing on our status page because it makes me think that every applicant may get this and not because I did something terribly wrong.
For anyone who has gotten the "Additional Correspondence" letter in the mail, what does it say?
I believe "Additional Correspondence" refers to the acceptance packet. I interviewed 11/12, got the "Final Decision made on 11/20", CBC e-mail 11/21, and now "Additional Correspondence :11/24". I am under the impression any post-inteviewee who is accepted sees this additional field on the status page. You might not remember this far back, but when you first saw that your status page changed to "Final decision made on xx/xx", do you remember if that field popped up out of nowhere within a day? I think as long as you're accepted, you get this, not because you did something wrong.
I'm still waiting to get off work to check my mail... getting so antsy. Hey Greatguy, since you're from Aurora which is close to where I am, did you receive your packet yet?
