Zip you always make my day! I thought College of Medicine has a different code from the regular campus. Thanks
zipmedic said:You're welcome. If you doubt me (don't doubt me), you can check the UIC COM Financial Aid Guide here. In Appendix G on page 28, you'll see the code is still 001776. 🙂
Is the Adcom meeting today (3rd Thurs of Feb) regarding admissions decisions for the past month or have things changed? I was accepted in Nov but my wife interviewed on 1/30.
Is UIC still offering interview invites?
I was about to mail in my completed immunization documentation form and I was double-checking for every requirement and realized my doctor mis-read the instructions where it says Hep B requires 3 shots AND titer. She gave me my 3 shots over last year but forgot the titer. Darn! I just had a titer for varicella last week and they could have included Hep B in it! Do I really need this titer since my doctor wrote down the dates of my three Hep B shots that I got just last year? Anyway, I'm going to submit this form and I'll call in to see if they still need that titer. I'll get the titer some other time and mail them my lab proof separately I guess...
I just got a status change and the additional correspondence tab. Does that mean I'm in? Or could it be a waitlist??
"A final decision was made on your application on 02-19-09. Please allow two-weeks to receive the correspondence in the mail. If you do not receive this correspondence in two-weeks, please contact the Admissions Office. No decision will be given over the telephone."

Just finished and submitted my FAFSA. WOOT!
Your estimated Expected Family Contribution (EFC) is: 0
I also got the additional correspondence tab yesterday.

Should I assume I've been accepted. I interviewed about 11 days ago so it was a pretty fast turnaround. I really wanna get that final acceptance letter so I can stop worrying about the microbiology test I'm making up today (i actually missed the test because i was interviewing at uic lol). So can i somehow coax the admission people into telling me if I call them? Can someone hack into UIC's database and tell me if im accepted? haha.
The best bet would to wait for the CBC mail, which usually comes in 2-3 days, before any celebrations.
Do CBC emails come again to those that have already received and completed them for other schools?

Well I was deferred in January got the status change yesterday, with additional correspondence in the corner(no date next to add correspondence). So im trying to patiently await to see if i get a CBC........ahhhh!!!
Frankly put, waiting sucks. Good luck!
Hey all, does anyone know when second look day is for the Chicago campus? And are there second look days for the other campuses?
Thanks!
is there an expected date for the next batch of interview invites? if not does anyone know when the last batch was?
So status change decision as of 2/19/09 with correspondence section and CBC email = acceptance? Because if so....... 😀 Is this correct?!
How long should I wait for my site placement before I call the admissions office? I had my deposit and everything turned in nearly two weeks ago.
Give it another week and then call. The "received at UIC-to-received in COM Admissions" time is sometimes, to phrase it charitably, "suboptimal."
Never mind! I got it today: Urbana, Rockford.
FYI, if you're submitting appeals letters, send them ASAP. It seems as though the committee is reviewing them and granting some.

Had mine sent out today. *Crosses Fingas*![]()
No kidding? The office is so slimy, I called yesterday and asked when I should send in a letter and the lady I talked to said they won't even be looked at until after May 15th.
Did you snail mail it in? Trying to figure out how to send it!
I'm in!!! 😍
