why don't you cry about it?
why don't you cry about it?
I'm happy you got in and everything, but you're not really one to talk since you were accepted like 2 weeks after your interview and didn't have to deal with the silence and waiting a lot/most of other people dealt with post-interview from Baylor.
InYourFace, just want to let you know that my "" was partly in jest, and partly to say that most schools are at least nearly as secretive as Baylor, and that I didn't think their behavior was sneaky or suspicious. I too was wait listed and have since been dropped from the WL (June 15th), but I pretty much (99%) knew where I wanted to go anyway and so my experience does not compare to yours/metallica/rwongega. I do know how much of an emotional rollercoaster this process is and I guess I had forgotten how easily it can make you feel depressed. SDN is usually a good place to find others in a similar position with whom to share our experiences and feelings, whether positive or negative. So, sorry if my sarcasm came off as callous! I wish all of you guys the best of luck.
Truthfully, I think by now most of the seats have settled. Just about the only way there would be movement now is if someone who is currently holding a seat got into a higher choice of theirs... and again, most of the seats at THOSE schools have probably settled by now.
Still,to everyone still hoping, but if you have other plans for next year I would go ahead and solidify them.
Called Baylor...again. Class is full. 🙁
I thought so. I will be in the 2010-2011 thread.
Just got the class is full email.
:/
See some of you in next year's thread.

Got the letter also. At least they didn't keep us hanging till August.
Received the "class full" email yesterday. I'm glad they actually let me know. Wish it could have worked out with Baylor, but I'm happy with my current situation.
Good luck to everyone else waiting on good news of any kind.
It kind of figures I didn't get in, since the desperate users with the most posts in school specific threads usually don't unless they are already current students.
Good bye Baylor thread.
