Well, I think calling is the safe way to go. Better to be upfront with it, rather than risking someone wondering "What the heck, why did they send this? Oh, it must be spam. But wait, they didn't even bother to call and tell us? "

i think just call, better to have an awkward phone conversation then to have some adcom see this and think that you are more interested in selling cheap electronics then med school😉.

i just got an email from BU saying thank you for your email we will get back to you in 3 days and im like what email? and then i see in my sent messages that an email was sent saying hey, check out this company blah blah !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


omg omg omg im going to kill myself why dammet they are gonna think im such an idiot! i just opend this email too and its only for my application stuff and nothing else

The email that was sent on my behalf had a different msg in there, it was actually a legit website, and the description was more in detail 😉

Dude, seriously I would not click on that link, I'm sure it uploads a virus or spamware on your computer when you clicked on it. What version of Windows are you using? Do you have any anti-virus on your computer? When I clicked on the link that my friend sent me, my anti-virus program just went crazy.

You can do either way, but I'm pretty sure they won't review you until they have a MCAT score from you.

So I noticed a lot of rejections and went over to the status page just to check. It does not recognize my name or password and when i go to the "forgot password option" it says I don't exist. They are probably sending the rejection as I type lol.

I'm not sure. It happened to me too for a few minutes this morning and then I took a break, and tried again 20 minutes later. I was then able to log in (no change in status).

The worst part of an early rejection is that you begin to doubt yourself: "maybe, I'm approaching my application wrong...but wait...I already sent out 20--too late."

BU costed a lot, too, huh?

Frankly, I'd rather get a email that simply said REJECTED in large red letters. All of that crap about being an eligible applicant in a large pool...lol, give me a break.
