Out of curiosity, would any current UCSF student know how much movement there is from the HPL or waitlist?
 
I heard that there might not be any more acceptances sent out before May 15th... but I'm not 100% sure about this.

Overall, I think there's quite a bit of movement from the WL/HPL list, because a lot of my classmates were accepted from them. I don't actually have any exact numbers, but you should remain hopeful 🙂

There weren't any acceptances from the HPL/WL until after may 15 last year apart from the couple early march ones.

Still hoping... "I left my heart in SF" 😀

did you hear this from anyone in the admissions office? i was really hoping this year would be different!!

im also still keeping my fingers and toes crossed :xf::luck: with my heart left in SF 😍

I hope this eases some of the HPLers' (who haven't yet heard this month) worries:: rejected today from the HPL list, postmarked Apr 19. good luck to everyone still waiting to hear! 🙂

its ok 🙂 i'm excited for the places ive been accepted and the places I'm still waiting to hear from! i got HPLed in February. just glad to share the information so that some of you know that you've made it past another 'end of the month' good luck to you onemcat!

no envelope today.... thankfully i guess. this is so incredibly nervewracking :scared:

i wish i was home to check my mailbox right at 1-2pm but i dont get back until late afternoon..

What is this other mail you speak of? Do you mean AL/acceptance letters may come out next week?

Describes how I've been feeling since last June haha! (wow I just realized it's been nearly a year since we started this process, crazy)
 
Count me out guys. I am actually relieved to be leaving limbo land but I wish the rest GL!

I got it today in the southbay (60 miles away). It's weird but I'm not too down about it. It's probably bc I have been avoiding to hype myself up (ie I wanted to count my chickens after they hatch) lol

I'm still waiting on uci but for now keck it is (i need to be in CA!). they recently received a multimillion dollar donation of which a good chunk is for med students so we'll see

Empty mailbox for me today as well and I live in the Bay Area. HPLed mid-January I believe.
 
I had a dream last night that I was waitlisted :scared:

Yeah, I turned in a LOI and a couple updated letters of recommendation. Mostly because I'm a non-traditional candidate and probably need them.

I, too, am dreaming for the waitlist.

I know that the MSIs were planning a beach bonfire. But other than that, there have been no new details about it

it gets pretty windy in SF but not crazy cold, you guys should hold off so i can join you too 😛:xf::luck:
 
Received my waitlist letter from UCSF today. I live in SF.
 
Got a small letter from UCSF today, and thought the worst.

It turned out they approved payment for my contract position.

Much better than my expected rejection letter!
