Yep. I was complete around 8/31 and was interviewed last week.

the committee meets every other monday? i wonder which interview days they are looking at (if there's a delay or something)
Any re-applicant in-stater's gotten interviews lately? I interviewed last year and completed my secondary this year over a month ago. I think I've made significant changes to my application (improved MCAT, better LORS, more medical experience, lots of additional volunteering and shadowing etc...).
I thought I would definitely get another interview here for sure, but now I'm starting to wonder.... Just wanted to see if any other re-applicants are getting any love from UNC lately
Yea, I'm IS and interviewed last year in January...got invited beginning of NOV.....This year I was complete in early Aug..invited Mid August and interviewed at the end of Sept.
Does UNC send you in notification after 8 weeks if you are waitlisted? I interviewed at the beginning of Sept, so my 8 weeks should be coming up pretty soon. I think they said they like to give more acceptances as christmas nears, so I am not sure if that timeline is accurate for people who interviewed early.

I wouldnt count on it. I know its hard, but try to relax. It may take a while.Does UNC send you in notification after 8 weeks if you are waitlisted? Oh. My. God. Got an interview and Im in complete shock, since I had pretty much just given up on hearing anything. Good luck to everyone else and I hope to see some of you there!!!
Any acceptances yet? Trying to findout interview date vs acceptances.
Since the adcom meets every 2 weeks...and the initial decisions went out by 2 weeks ago some people from late Sept/early October should hear back this Tues/Wed since some people who interviewed late Sept were notified in the first group. Hope this helps.
well i interviewed last week. highly doubt i'll hear anytime soon.
guess 1 week down 7+ more weeks to go
Congrats!! what time did they call you (sounds like night time)?
Just got a phone call today informing me of my acceptance into UNC - YAY first one, I'm super psyched. Interviewed 9/20, In state!!
Congrats everyone who got in! I interviewed in sept as well, so hopefully i'll be celebrating soon too. Craustin, did you mistype your interview date? 9/20 was a Sunday (just trying to get a feel as to how long ppl are waiting for final decisions).
Who was your committee member?Yes - I meant 10/20. The committee member that interviewed me called and said they just got out of committee and told me the news. They meet every other Monday.

that's awesome, congratulations! Would you mind telling us your stats - mcat/gpa?
i was told that acceptances go out based on different counties since certain quotas have to be filled...has anyone from the mecklenburg or cabarus county gotten an acceptance yet??
~3.5 30S
keep hope alive👍
Nice. Sorry if this was asked before . . . approximately (for anonymity's sake) when did you interview? Late September / early October or something of the like?
For the person who was asking about counties, Mecklenburg here.
where did you hear this?? I kind of feel this is bogus.i was told that acceptances go out based on different counties since certain quotas have to be filled...has anyone from the mecklenburg or cabarus county gotten an acceptance yet??
Nope, but i can tell you last year they gave out 200 acceptances for 160 spots. Average mcat in the mid to high 32s and roughly a 3.7 gpa.Does UNC have a stats page like ECU that says how many acceptances and interviews they have given out?
craustin, thanks for your response. nice stats!
I guess those of us who haven't heard back are cycling through the Ad cttee and subcommittee. I suppose that's a good sign. Are rejections swift at this point? So hearing no news is good news?
