Complete sometime in August.
Never thought I stood a chance...

Does Einstein send out a pretty huge number of interview invites or do they just have small groups on interview day? It seems they've been going strong from October through April.

Mine has been Status is about to change since the tuesday before last. What makes you think there's a decision coming out 2mrw?

It's interesting that Einstein didn't stick to their two-week release schedule, Granted, I haven't checked last year's thread to compare, but there should be another release coming soon.

Wasn't there a snowstorm? Maybe the adcom meeting schedule is being thrown off because of the recent storms? I interviewed way back in 2010, and I've given up on ever hearing back from them 🙄

Yeshiva never cancelled school for that day. As far as I know all decisions are released on fridays, I have a feeling they simply skipped a friday for some unknown reason. There were no Jewish holidays that fell on a Friday thus far this year, and the next holiday isn't till March.

Oh okay - thanks for clarifying that, then! Maybe we'll hear from them on Monday or next Friday! Still, there's really not much else most of us can do other than sit back, try to relax, and wait! 🙂

It will be on a Friday, I skimmed over last years threads and ALL decisions were made on a friday (excluding those taken off the waitlist during the summer).

Congrats! I did too... interviewed Jan 3, and my status never changed so I def wasn't expecting this. Go figure. 😀

Yes, I had "status about to change" for about 1.5 weeks now and I interviewed in mid-december. Hope this helps.

That's actually an excellent question. Up until a few days ago, you could log into your secondary application: www.einstein.yu.edu/admissions/application/login.asp

and there was a Check Status link. However, now there's a message "The Deadline for Secondary Applications was February 15, 2011. Einstein is not accepting any more applications at this time," and you can't log in... anyone have any ideas?

Jeez. Does this mean its game over for everyone? That wouldn't make sense then if the deadline was the 15th (though whoever waited that late is insane given that invites are for late March early April now). How we do figure out our statuses?

I guess that, unless they put up the status check page again, the only thing we can do is call them ><

I was just asked for an interview, so I'm gonna assume the class isn't filled... they are scheduling them for mid-April now.

...ive had this status for about a month-

contacted office of admin:

"the commitee is reviewing your application to determine if you will receive an interview. good luck!"

....who knows, i guess the good luck part is the most important- i feel like i need it at this point

Here's a question for any AECOM students lurking in this thread:

Does the on-campus housing come with any furniture? Is there some sort of arrangement such that the departing 4th years can sell their furniture to incoming 1st years?

The apt's are not furnished but as it comes closer to the begining of the year you guys will get tons of messages from different people selling their stuff. They sell cheap stuff all year around here, many times it is sent in class emails and posted all over elevators and the apt buildings themselves. Not only furniture but you guys will also come to a used booksale put on by upper classmen to sell you guys your first year books for real cheap prices. I got all my books for first year for under 50 bucks...
