If you interviewed on October 30th you can call in and be told whether you're accepted or waitlisted.
Didn't know they offer them - a very pleasant surprise!
$15k/year for four years brings them on par with my state school.
I was accepted a couple months ago. This was a separate letter, emailed.
No it wasn't that, just a merit scholarship apparently. Was this the "Dean's Diversity Scholarship"? I received an application for it a few days ago ... or is this something different?

Such a quiet thread...just wanted to let folks know that I know of someone who received an interview invite December 22nd.
I received my interview invite on the 22nd and I was complete on August 18th.
Can somebody who has already interviewed offer some advice? For lodging, is the student guest house a good play or should I go with a standard hotel? Creighton says that they aren't able to store luggage. Is this true? Do you have any recommendations about what to do with luggage during the interview day?
Any other advice you can offer would be greatly appreciated. I've heard wonderful things about the school and the community so I'm very excited for the interview day!
Yeah it's too quiet in here! BTW if anyone interviewed Nov. 6th you can call in to get your decision.
Got back to town over the weekend from Christmas break and found the big envelope in my mailbox! It was dated Dec. 23, so I almost missed the return deadline! Here are my stats:
Complete: 8/17
Interview Invite: 10/10
Interviewed:11/12
Accepted: 12/23
GPA: 3.62
MCAT: 30Q
2 years post-undergrad research
Good luck to everyone waiting!
MAN! I guess it takes FOREVER to get to the Southeast from Omaha. And their office is closed today. BOO! 👎
OH god!!! really? Will they tell you if you get rejected over the phone? Have they mailed the decisions. I may be too nervous to do it over the phone.

anybody know how late they interview? any recent interview invites? I haven't heard anything, complete in early sept.
Hi All,
I was waitlisted back in October and called 3 times on different Thursday afternoons during open office hours to express my interest and check to see what else I can do to better my application (or see why I was waitlisted). Two times, I reached & left a voicemail but no one called me back...
Has anyone called from OOS and received a call back or asked about their waitlisted status?
THANKS!

hey all,
hopefully i can answer a few of the recent questions:
creighton interviews fairly late, i believe into march last year- also they don't interview "for waitlist spots," if you are being interviewed you have the potential to be given a straight-acceptance
don't worry about when you were complete/thinking you were passed over for an interview- creighton re-reviews applications so just because they saw yours once it doesn't mean you won't later get an interview- i was complete mid-sept, invite in dec, interviewed early jan, accepted in feb- if you have questions call up or e-mail, don't feel like you are being annoying- the admissions staff is incredibly nice and helpful!
kachan- try calling again this week since the holidays always cause a disruption in admissions- they will be very honest and tell you things that they think would help get you off the waitlist in may, and i can't stress this enough- if you are waitlisted and really want to come to creighton, show interest and periodically call/send updates/etc.- this is huge for when they re-review your file in may
hopefully this was helpful- also STAY WITH A HOST! it really is a great deal and we are awesome 🙂
Just got my email invitation for an interview date in February. Even though I don't have a lot of experience with this school, I agree that the admissions staff is both friendly and helpful. When speaking with a staff member I was given advice on which part of my application seemed a little weak. He encouraged me to send an update on my senior year grades as well as anything else that may help make my file stronger.
Interview Invite! I received it yesterday, but didn't check it until this morning. My story is pretty interesting, so maybe it will give some of you still waiting some hope! I was complete 8/4 , sent an update 10/11 , rejected pre-interview 12/9. Called to get feedback on my app 12/13. Interview Invite 01/14. Moral of the story : If you really want it, let them know! Good luck to everybody.

When you sent your update letter did they acknowledge receiving it at all? I have sent two and they didn't respond at all to either (other schools replied to the email thanking me for the update and telling me they'd add it to my file, etc).
So this is part of the reason I got extremely lucky. When I called to get feedback on my app after the rejection, it became apparent (based on the critiques) that my update letter had not been included in my file. After asking about the letter, it turned out that it had not been added to my file. What impressed me was that the director found the letter, saw that I had sent it in October, and re-opened my file to be reviewed w/ the letter included (which was very unexpected and I am very very thankful!). So I definitely recommend calling, expressing interest, and ensuring that your letters have been added to your file. I know that on Thursdays you can call and speak with the director of admissions himself, which really sets Creighton apart. Hope this helps!
I got the call at 4:24 today............ I'm in! I'm so excited!!!!!!! This is my first acceptance!!!! 😍😍😍😍😍 I interviewed 12/3 by the way
I called again...somehow no one ever returns my voicemails even during open office hrs Thursday. Maybe Creighton just doesn't want me since I'm on the alternate list. 🙁
Congratulations. your post prompted me to call them. I also sent them another update letter too. Hopefully it helps me some.
I read someone else also post a similar story recently in the UIC thread. Crazy stuff.

Just awarded a scholarship! Yay, I love this school 🙂. It covers about 25-30% of the total tuition. Definitely will help!
I was just awarded the same! Do you know when we received our full financial aid letter? Maybe I am jumping the gun here...
