I dont proclaim to speak for others--only myself. However, my experience at PLFSOM is not a good one. To those of you with multiple offers, consider yourselves fortunate and pursue those other options. The same goes for those of you on the waitlist.
My main frustration with PLFSOM is the lack of a structured curriculum. In theory, the clinical presentation approach sounds good. In spite of this, PLFSOMs basic science curriculum can be a frustrating undertaking for some individuals. After knowing what I know now, I would much rather learn in a traditional lecture format.
Again, Im not implying that my experiences will reflect yours--there are individuals who thrive in this kind of learning environment. However, really examine yourself and your learning style before making the decision to come to PLFSOM. Dont let the excitement of getting accepted to medical school blind you.
