I think someone posted that they received a prematch offer at the beginning of January.
yah! That's why I thought it was weird that in the pamphlet, they marked 12/31 as the last day
Jan 31 2025 is the last day ANY TMDSAS school can offer prematches.
I don’t know if Tech will send any more though today or tomorrow
thanks! do schools tend to not send prematches on the last few days? this is my first cycle, and i interviewed at tech 12/17.
All schools are different, just have to wait & see.
Be sure you have logged in to your TMDSAS portal and ranked all the schools that interviewed you, even if you only had 1 interview you still need to do it.

The current MS1 told me most people in her class received acceptance on Match Day.

I've sent in an update letter about a month ago, but I really want to get into this school. Would it be a bad thing to send a letter of intent so close to match day? I don't want to come across as desperate lol (even though I am...)

I could be wrong, but I am pretty sure everything on their end is final for us right now, so it wouldn't change the outcome if you sent another one.
Save it for after Match Day if you end up on WLs only.
Did you have other TX interviews this year?

Congratulations!!
I heard only 50 waitlist spots; on average, 20-30 applicants pulled from the WL spots.
Do waitlisted applicants get an email?

Yes, they would make the offer to you by email.
This school will email you
I’ve heard some people already received rejections from tech not sure if it’s by wave or if it means something that you don’t get a rejection letter on match day.

None of this WL motion is going to happen in a short timespan. Match Day just happened and people who also applied to AMCAS schools might not know their options until April or May.
Small changes in the class makeup can happen any time between now and the end of June approximately
If someone withdraws from the class they are replaced from a WL

It was mentioned by some of the M1's at preview day that there would be a discord invite for your cohort at some point. Not sure when that will kick down but I assume in the coming couple weeks. Doubt they've got access to that data on the weekend of match.
Correct. When I got my R last year it was delivered within 5-7 days of March day.

I saw that there will be a reapplicant seminar and file review at TTUHSC in March. The event is $40 or $20 for just a file review. Does anyone have any insight about whether the seminar is worth the cost? Trying to decide if I should go to the seminar or just do the file review. Thanks!!

I don't know much about the reapplicant seminar, but I would wager it is worth the cost to personally meet/connect with admissions members- I know this has heavy weight at regionally similar schools like OU. Additionally, a friend of mine who got in last year (with low stats) largely attributed his success to meeting with admissions members at outreach fairs, so it couldn't hurt!
