So, if I haven't heard anything yet (transmitted late September) am I probably out of the running?
I'm prior enlisted Air Force with
GPA: 2.92
sGPA: 3.01
MCAT 36T
Call them Monday. I know that AMCAS doesn't send letters to USUHS, and you have to send them in separately. Don't know anything about Virtual Evals though.I just received a notice from USUHS saying thst all of my LORs were missing from my application. All of them were uploaded to Virtual Evals, though, and my school had told me that I didn't need to do anything further to get the LORs to USUHS. I also received a postcard a few months ago telling me my file was complete.
Has anyone else had issues with this??
If they haven't rejected you yet, you're not out of the running! You could definitely hear something! Is your file complete?
Guys, tomorrow is the next decision date!!
Can anybody tell me what the security email says? I never received it from Peter Sylvester. All I know it has the SF-86 in it. Do I have to do anything else besides fill it out and bring it with me on my interview day?
Yes, I called him, he said to send him an email and he'd forward it to me. I never got a reply from him, called again and the second time he was mad. He asked me to email him a second time, I did, still no reply. I don't want to call again. I downloaded the SF-86 just by googling it, I just don't want to miss the directions.
This has probably been discussed already, so my apologies if it has. I'm currently planning the DODMERB physical/opto appointments, but it seems like I may not be able to make them well in advance before interviewing. Does anyone know if it's alright for your DODMERB processing to not have been completed prior to interviewing? I'm looking at going in for the appointments a few days before the interview... 😕
they don't need to be complete prior to interview, but get 'em done asap. It takes a little while for the paperwork to go through, and if you have to remediate something (simple or otherwise) it will only take longer. Your dodmerb status is not connected with your interview/acceptance status, so it's not essential to have one finished before the other.
Good luck everyone!![]()
I interviewed on Sept. 30th and got a letter about a week ago saying they hadn't reached a decision yet - nothing about postponing or anything like that. Does everyone get these periodic updates...? What does it even mean? I figured I would have a decision from them by now. I was just notified the other day of some extra DODMERB stuff I have to send in, but I thought that was independent of acceptance/rejection status.
Got the call this morning at 6:00am west coast time! Interviewed Oct 14. Navy!!
Congrats - crossing my fingers for next week! what was yours conditional on?

Has anyone gotten an interview invite lately? I'm going nuts waiting! Does anyone think sending them an update letter letting them know that I was accepted to Navy HSCP might affect anything? Other than that, and a little bit of additional volunteering at a clinic I don't have much to update them on, so maybe I'll wait till January?
Does anyone have the number to the Admissions Office? I need to call them IMMEDIATELY, regarding my application, but I seem to have misplaced it. HALP!
Can someone please PM me so I can get the security form? Thank you so much
The office has been kind of difficult. I was invited for an interview over a month ago and never received any emails with the security form or where to get physicals! I got the security form now, but just waiting on where to get the physical...
Offered a postion in the Air Force. Good luck to everyone and I look forward to seeing everyone this summer!
Interview: Oct 14th
Acceptance: Nov 17th
Are there any enlisted personnel that are applying; I have the sample letter of approval form that I have to do and that my commander has to do but I wanted to see a real one that somebody has already done so that I do not miss anything. My email is [email protected] if you could send me a copy, I would really appreciate it.
Man.. now I'm getting nervous with you guys getting acceptances. I also interviewed the 14th but didn't receive a call. Did you write a letter of intent? I honestly didn't know that this was something I should consider doing. The school is definitely one of my top choices.Offered a postion in the Air Force. Imagine how I feel, I interviewed way back September 23rd and haven't heard anything at all from them. I think it's time to assume the worst for me....Man.. now I'm getting nervous with you guys getting acceptances. I also interviewed the 14th but didn't receive a call.
