so to answer some questions about successful appeals--i was rejected post-secondary (did not get an interview) and sent an appeal letter as a pdf attachment by email. somehow, totally miraculously, they accepted the appeal and i'm interviewing in january. i spent a lot of time on the letter (my bf and i spent a great deal of time sending it back and forth with edits). but i basically tried to show why i'm a good match for ucsf, academically and personally. so to those considering whether to appeal, do try! i wasn't hopeful at all, but getting the interview was the best surprise ever. especially since this is my first choice school. best of luck to everyone.
if you don't mind sharing, how long was it between submitting your appeal and getting an interview? thanks!
