Ya, I mean it's difficult, but med school isn't as bad as it was made out to be, at least in my mind. Granted there is a lot of material (they offer "course packs" here that are like mini-textbooks for each class and is what is taught directly out of, and there were about 5 reams of paper for this semester) but it isn't super difficult material. I mean, ya, we work hard, but it's not like everyone is super stressed out and seems like on the verge of a breakdown. Overall this school is very healthy, attitude-wise.
Granted we haven't had any tests yet 🙂 , but even then the school allows for you to recover from poor performances by spreading out evaluation throughout the semester. I'd hate to go to a school where your entire (or near your entire) grade was gleaned from a single test at the end of the semester.
