interview invite! submitted 8/14, complete 9/2
I'm way jealous! What are your stats? IS/OOS?
interview invite! submitted 8/14, complete 9/2
congrats!is 33/3.7
my primary has been verified since the begin of august, and I still havent received a secondary yet??
Anyone else?
Same here. Verified on August 17 and I haven't received anything thats said they even received my primary.
Glad there are others in the same boat, I was starting to worry. I called and left admissions a voicemail but I'm guessing thats not going to do any good since it sounds like they are very busy. Guess we will see
I e-mailed them to move my application manually (fee waiver) on the 8/20. I still haven't heard anything.
Same situation, I tried calling several times on different days, with no luck....As of now, my secondary is still not submitted. Anyone has any luck talking to someone in the office?
Anyone been having trouble contacting the admissions' office? I tried to contact them regarding my secondary application submission since I have AMCAS waiver. I emailed TWICE SINCE beginning SEPT and CALLED 5 TIME and left 2 MESSAGES and no response. This is frustrating cuz it's end of Sept and I still haven't gotten my secondary in. Any ideas?
well...that would explain a lot.I think their number listed on website is wrong. I got their actual number through the university operator. I tried talking to them for fee waiver, but there is a new person who is moving manual applications this year. Nothing happened for a week. I didnt want to wait this long to move. I just paid $80 (my entire bank balance at that moment 😀)
On another note, what are the adcoms doing at this moment? I am lookingfor some instate love!!!
I'm OOS and been done my secondary since early August and haven't heard anything! This is so frustrating!
Some schools just move a little bit slower. It looks like it is worth the wait, so let's be patient. I think they literally just started reviewing anyway, so it really isn't surprising. I would also consider the fact that we can even be interviewed in March. This is a long slow process, so it is best to be calm and enjoy the fight even though it is stressful. 🙂
I haven't received word that I'm complete after almost a month. I've called and emailed several times with no reply. I'm getting pretty frustrated!
Made a SDN account just to come here and say this 🙂
So I just got in touch with their admissions office. They told me that the woman who was in charge of sending out e-mails to applicants who completed their appications retired and the e-mail address was deleted, so the office never knew that we didn't recieve notications
furthermore, the website will NOT show your application or status after you submit it.
They told me that they will be sending out batches of e-mails starting on monday to applicants who have completed their application. They have been reviewing the applications though!
Relax, everyone 🙂
Haha, this is great. You're my hero! Thanks for helping out. 🙂Made a SDN account just to come here and say this 🙂

So the secondary is slow for Toledo? Should I just go ahead and create a log in on their website or you really have to wait for the email to do that?
I still havent received the secondary yet? I received the secondary last year.
What kind of screen do they have?
3.65 gpa 33 mcat
I don't think there are any "cutoffs." In fact it appears that even through some of the postings people with stats like myself (some may consider not par with other overachieving applicants) are still awarded a secondary. I received mine within two weeks of AMCAS verification. They probably do a holistic review of each applicant and go from there, but I think like all schools this year they move slow. Also even if you get an interview or secondary doesn't necessarily mean that you will be given a spot in the school.
Also for those that can't get in touch with adcom you might want to call on a Friday afternoon that's what I did because I haven't received an e-mail from the adcom that my secondary was complete. Sounds like they are swamped due to the previous person that dealt with all of this retiring and AMCAS sending the retiree e-mails of primary applications and its hard to get access/login to her e-mail account.

May I ask how you guys actually got through to talk to a real person? I'm OOS so cannot go to the office; have called the main operator to be transferred to a number belonging to Kris Peterson, with whom I've left 2 messages. I have an AMCAS waiver and am desperate in trying to get my secondary through. Any suggestion?
Just curious if anyone OOS w/ <30 MCAT has received an II?
Yes, I did almost immediately after sending in my AMCAS in September (I had applied early decision to another school).
I'm assuming that "II" means a secondary application...
Interview Invite
Ah. Got it.
You can't go all Roman numerals on me...
Is there any way that anyone has reached the admissions office? I need to get things cleared up if OOS with < 30 MCAT (such as myself) have received secondary when my AMCAS was verified in mid August :-/

On an iPod, so I can't look at the moment, but they don't have a number listed on their admission site?
Also, have you gotten secondaries from anywhere else? There might be an issue with your AMCAS, such as a letter that hasn't been submitted.
For all of you who can't reach the admissions office, you should probably be contacting Kris Peterson ([email protected]). She is the administrative assistant for the admissions office, and she replaced Sandy (the woman who retired over the summer). In my experience, she always responded quickly to e-mails (same day unless it was after 4pm).
The phone number is 419-383-3438.
I applied ED and was accepted about a week ago, so I'm for sure going to UT next year (unless I defer to do research) 🙂
Thanks sisterray.
I just logged into my secondary again to check if it was moved into the system (I have AMCAS waiver) and all my secondary information got deleted. I tried following through the application and I had to start from scratch. So, does it mean my secondary got submitted or something went wrong? This is frustrating. Thanks for the help guys
That means it was moved into the system. For those of us that paid the secondary fee our application was gone as well.
Just received the secondary, submitted primary August 16th. Anyone know why that took so long or if there is there still a chance at an interview?
They had a staff change. And yes it is still early in the cycle. Good luck!
