You should probably contact the admissions office and just double check that your application is being processed and isn't missing anything. They may also be able to give you an update as to when you can expect an answer -- everyone in admissions here is super nice!

Hahaha. You might fit in with UVA students very well, there seems to be a lot of love for memes among both NxGen classes.

My first acceptance too 🙂 Don't know where I'm going to matriculate (as it is my first acceptance), but could see myself going here for sure.

One of my classmates was accepted pretty early in the season, and knew instantly that she'd end up here. She was so sure that she started our Facebook group 🙂

Definitely one of my top choices of the schools I've been to so far.
 
It took 4 days to get a letter to NC, but only 3 to get one to Seattle? No wonder the USPS is broke.

Oh, and congrats!
 
Accepted!! It took a while to get the letter down here in the south.. must be that cold front
 
Accepted! Loved my day at UVA and the school is very high on my list. I was surprised and interested by the feedback on the new curriculum. I guess I need to give things more of a serious thought, but I'm happy to see the debate on the thread rather than staying oblivious to it. I would appreciate any and all input from current students. =]
 
ACCEPTED! 😀😀 Took about 4-5 days for the letter to get to Cali, so I was pretty much expecting to get some sort of news today...🙂
 
Does UVA reject people straight out after interview? Or are the only two options acceptance and alternate list?

Hey everyone!

I asked my mom to keep an eye on the mail for my letter from UVA, and she just called me to let me know that I've been ACCEPTED! 😀

I was very impressed by the interview day. I was actually really interested in the curriculum. Unfortunately, during my interview, we weren't able to speak to any first or second year students. I'm hoping to grill them on their opinions of the curriculum during second look!

I remember them telling us at my interview that they would be dishing out all three flavors of responses. It never hurts to call and ask to verify though! Good luck!
 
Did you guys receive info about scolarships and stuff or does that come later?

See, every time I've gone in after class to speak to the interviewees (we used to go in before the day started, but they started making all our classes get out at 10, which makes it more difficult), no one has had any questions for me, and I feel really awkward standing there.

I believe Second Look has historically taken place during match week. At least last year, it was that week. We had end of basic sciences on Monday, Match Day on Thursday, and Second Look on Saturday. If they have it that same weekend this year, the current second years will be in the middle of a rotation and probably won't be able to attend to your questions.

If they have it a week later, half of us (or so) will be between rotations and will thus be more likely to be there. I'm more inclined to think that they'll move it back because Match Day has moved to Friday now.

You can't do any financial aid stuff until after January 1 (you need all your tax information from this year). You're automatically considered for all the school scholarships, but you can always try for outside scholarships, however few and far between they are.

Hey mvenus!

When I interviewed, the admissions office told us that the first and second years were on break, so we wouldn't have the opportunity to speak to them. The fourth years that led our tour and had lunch with us were awesome, though. They couldn't comment on the new curriculum, but they gave us some great insight on the second half of their experience at UVA.

Sorry to hear that your experiences with the interviewees wasn't great! I would have definitely asked you some questions about the curriculum and how much you've enjoyed the school and Charlottesville. I'm OOS, so I tried my best to gather as many perspectives on the school in order to make an informed decision come May!

Thanks for the information regarding second-look! I hope I get the chance to meet you and ask you my questions! Good luck with classes! 😀

Accepted on Thursday - but haven't had internet access until now. I'm so excited! UVa is definitely one of my top choices. Charlottesville is awesome!

I've been complete since Sept. 6 and still no update. IS, UVA undergrad. Should I be worried and should I call them?
 
Complete since August and no word
 
Been complete since 8/14 and still haven't heard anything. That goes for a lot of schools that I was complete at around that time
