Although I'm an IS applicant, my gpa is similarly maimed. Thanks to a messy withdrawal-turned-to-Fs of a whole semester of science classes in *cough* 1996 *cough* my GPA just squeaked in at slightly over 3.0 sGPA/3.3 cGPA. I've done the what-if math and could add about .5 to each GPA without that boat anchor.
Reviving this old topic, but I know him, too! He taught at my high school. I didn't have him as a teacher, though.

Just as an FYI I got mine on a Tuesday as did my friend, however that was back in late october

Yea I was just surprised as I interviewed the same time but go put on hold almost a month ago
+1 I wish we had an idea of where we stood in the hold pool with the notice of they still have interviews and that we could go down in number just so we had some idea of where we stood.I wish there would be some movement in the hold pool, but I have a feeling it's all going to happen come May 15. They probably figured out the cut-offs they need to get a full class last year (the first year of the MMI) w/o over accepting so even if they are off by a few, they probably wont be accepting those till May 15, the day the AAMC says they should have made enough acceptance offers to fill their class. After that it will be all wait-list movement, which was pretty good last year. Started out with 38 acceptances on the first day and went all the way up to 68 on August 1st.

I think I might be the only one that has ever been connected to a live person when calling rather than receiving a return call: (1) I'm still in screening, (2) A decision should be made within 2 weeks, and (3) They did indeed receive my updates. w00t. Jesus I hope I don't get rejected.
