does everyone else still have the "Your application is not ready!" note in the app status section?

thanks guys, that's so weird, I'll have to email admissions and see what's up.

Mine says not ready too. I think it has more to do with when you submitted and less to do with whether or not your application is actually ready.

Doubtful. I submitted Friday afternoon and got the ready status instantly.

Right, but I submitted the first day, before they knew of any issues with transcripts/references. Since then, I'd assume they've addressed these problems, so those who've submitted after the fix should have "ready" applications. Just a theory though.

Ah, I see what you mean. I thought you were implying those that submitted early would have had the chance to get a manual review to be marked ready, but what you are saying makes sense I guess.

Yeah for sure. Hopefully I'm right, or else I got problems. :scared:

Glad yours is complete though, good luck!

I'm sure they'll work it out soon, especially since Tara will see this on here.

Thanks! Good luck to you too!

I submitted 8/30 and still have the missing LoR's error. Hopefully it changes tomrrow

Hello everyone - hopefully this will answer your questions about our status codes.

The application system pulls data from a variety of "hosts", one of which is the AAMC AMCAS Letter Service and because of this, we have cyber "traffic". Depending on the "traffic" and time of the day (literally, systems go through scheduled maintenance), some of you will receive a different status than others although both of you have letters sitting there.

So, check back often and if you don't see things moving after a business day or two, then write to us and detail what you're seeing.

Interview invites are going out this AM via regular email message (not through the Interview Tab) due to an unexpected delay on our vendor's end. First-come, first-served via the Sept 17 date.

INTERVIEW INVITATION!!!! Just came about 30 minutes ago. So excited to interview here, it's definitely one of my top choices. OOS 34S 3.96gpa

Congratulations that's awesome!!!

Was your app marked complete prior to the invite?

Yep! I've actually been complete since I submitted my application. My letters and everything have been in since the 8th of August so when I submitted on September 2nd I was complete.

Good to know. Did you use the AMCAS letter service?

FYI - please keep in mind that AMCAS can sometimes take up to several weeks for letters to appear in their downloaded FTP section. Even though it’s been marked as received in AMCAS, they still need to verify the letter, scan it in, and then package it up in the nightly download. This sometimes takes up to several weeks depending on their current workload. We run our batch at 3am every night.

Tara, thanks for being so good about reponding to our questions. I was verified by AMCAS 6/5 and submitted secondary 8/25. My status still says not ready and shows no letters received. Should I be worried?

Not yet - look again tomorrow evening. We just ran a report and found quite a few letters that need manually brought over, which will be done in tonight's batch.

Does anybody know what the weighting scale is for the admissions committee after the MMI? Does the interview score factor in greatly to the decision? I've never been a great interviewer but I feel like I have a great application otherwise, very nervous 😛

Hello Tara,

Thank you so much for answering questions on here. I was someone who submitted their secondary on the day it was made available, 8/24. Although I hesitate to be negative so quickly, considering you've told us that the first batch of interview invites has been set out, I became curious about whether Phoenix sends rejection e-mails or if they follow the "silent rejection" protocol that some other schools use. In that same vein, is Phoenix receptive to update e-mails or additional grades/letters of recommendation that we may feel strengthens our application? Thanks Tara! 🙂

There are multiple layers to the review process - no one is released from the process until mid-winter, at the minimum. You may not be chosen immediately for an interview and until otherwise communicated, you remain under review. No more information is necessary at this stage - we only invite updates post-interview.

Well, only one interview invite for the SDNers today... encouraging?

I also got an interview invite! 31S, IS, 3.98 GPA for those who are curious. I think I was in the second secondary batch, and I turned in my secondary late that night.

Congrats & great stats!

Good luck 👍

Also got one today, IS, 32-34 and >3.9

Top choice for me 🙂

Does anyone else's status say "Interview: Not scheduled yet" at the bottom of the page? I'm wondering if that means I should be expecting an interview invite or if it's just the default while they're reviewing my app... Thoughts?

Everyone's said that.

Tara,

My status says it still hasn't received my letters and that my app is NOT ready. I had my letters turned in and was verified by AMCAS in June and turned in my Arizona secondary on 8/28 (the same day I received it). I know you said to not worry until this morning since you were doing another batch last night, but I'm starting to worry now since nothing has changed. Should I call in? Thanks.

Check back later today - we are still moving them over. If nothing has changed, email the office.
